Hi guys just sharing a build that i feel im forced to play rather than one i want too for pvp, with the current state of the ranger ranged combat is pretty much a no go.
30 Survival
25 Nature Magic
15 Beastmastery
Running full Tough/Vit/Power armour from AC dungeon.
Weapons im using are greatsword and axe/horn, on current game build i can solo anything theifs warriors etc only mesmers tbh would give me any aggro, the idea behind the build is to outlast everyone while the dps is sub par i was very surprised how well it actually works.
Im using dolyak runes on armour for toughness and life regen signet of the wild for the second regen, also you will get a third regen from survival at 75% health.
This build also has major endurance regen, if you pop a heal you get even more endurance for all important combat rolling which also grants protection for 2 seconds.
As for pets i always use wolfs for there snares and knock downs which are great in close melee, since pets cant keep up with people in pvp makes sense to get on top of them drop frost trap and start bringing the greatsword into play.
Also pet swapping will give you a speed boost for Dps/ Finishing targets which is great.
