No. The people on here are atleast serious enough to come to forums looking for a team. Whereas people in HoTM might see my chat and just think “Oh yeah that’d be fun.”

I am looking to begin a “semi-casual” team for tPvP.

What do I mean by semi-casual?:

- There will be no rigid schedule.

- I am looking to play in a competitive environment, rather than the poor environment that exists in solo queue.

- Semi-Casual means I don’t plan on devoting tons of time to the game, it does NOT mean I don’t plan on playing to win. If you’re trash, I won’t play with you, and I expect the same response from others if they feel I am not up to par.

I plan on formulating the team from scratch. This means there will be a period of not having a set team. I will play with different combinations of players until I find what I believe to be the best one.

If this sounds like something you’re interested in, there are a few things I require:

- TeamSpeak and a mic.

- Willingness to play whatever is best for the team.

- Drive to improve.

My name is Nick and, although I have been on a recent hiatus, I have a long track record with online gaming, much of it competitive (including GW1 GvG). I started playing GW2 two days ago after getting a computer that can run it. I am looking for a guild that is willing to accept a new player, but is not casual.

-My first goal through joining a guild is to begin making connections with other people in the game.

-Content-wise, I plan on focusing on PvE for a while, since I don’t even have a level 80 yet.

-Right now I am looking for a guild of any type (PvX, WvW, PvE), since I have to learn every phase of the game at some point, so long as the members are not casual players.

-My ultimate goal is to work on sPvP and transition to tPvP. I don’t plan to dedicate myself to this for quite some time. I want to master the rest of the game first. (Unless a good opportunity presents itself)

-I am willing to fulfill whatever requirements you have, so long as I feel it is worth it.
