Ive been having this problem for 2 weeks

Currently 80ish games w/ 48 loss @ Plat 2(barely lol)

I started at silver, first thing I noticed was the amount of DH stacking. In silver to medium to low gold theres a lot of traps DH. Ive also seen a fair amount of symbol guards. Traps DH is pretty squishy but if you have matched against symbol guards then you know that most of the time, they will 2v1 to 3v1 and camp your home lol.

Not a lot of necros. Most of the time 1 druid in each team. But 1 druid and 1 aura share ele can carry the match. Same w/ 1 ele and 1 scrapper combo.

Because of power rev nerfs, people opted to playing warrior or DH. Did not see a lot of mesmers. Most of the time its just thieves. Thieves that know how to thieves are playing DP build. If they dont, they play staff.

Gold
People have an idea of what comp works and what doesnt work.
Still a fair amount of DH that got lucky so they still play it. This time its mostly symbol guards and DH traps w/ the sword shield instead of focus lol.
Ele is pretty much a requirement to win the teamfights.
Power revs are making a comeback at this level but I would say its still warrior city.

Platinum
Ele carries the team fights.
Power rev can win the team fights.
Engi/Druid saves the day.
Thief is very relevant if theres no mesmer
The other thief switches to DH or ele if they have no ele/druid/engi
warrior doing warrior things
mesmer dies on the inside trying to figure out where to rotate or +1 or moa someone

UHH I FORGOT CLASS BALANCE STUFF LOL
Symbol guard is still pretty strong.
IMO Power rev got nerfed too much (I dont play rev)
The passive stunbreak/taunt are pretty strong.
Warriors need more fine tuning. I think theyre close to where they should be (I dont play warrior)
Idk if the mesmer uh illusion heal nerf did something since I barely just made the switch from carrion to sage like today lol.
It should be a lot easier to balance if theres a no class stacking rule in ranked.

So I was using berserker amulet w/ scholar runes and it only crits people for around 600.

I tried it, its actually a lot of fun. But! It feels kind of lacking
I also tried it with zerker amulet, I think with the right comp and in a team its actually worthwhile, + more fun lol.
You just have to rely on your block/evades for defense. You might get condi loaded down a lot faster since it is still unforgiving against 1-2 condi class

Different offhand for more damage. I suggest Sword/pisol or sword/sword for your other set.

Scholar runes
If you can, try running s/s and s/p at the same time. Take off Greatsword

Try and not to panic when you get condi loaded. They are just trying to make you use your big cooldowns,
Timewarp on rezzing downs
Dont sword 2 into a scrapper (retal hurts)
Do not use your shatter skills for damage but for heal/boons.
Do not try and decap if there is someone defending a point. You just need to bunker/support.
If you are keeping the point neutral then you are doing it right lol. Most of the time, 2-3 people will try and break you and that is pretty much a GG if your team knows how to rotate and win home/mid
or
Get 2-3 clones. pop continuum shift. Drop everything on point then lolshift again. -_-

@Sunfish Want to just que up sometime w/ poop? :P We are trying to get diamond also but we just keep facing the farmer teams. But our que is only 7-8 mins long.

Also! Do you get demoted back to ruby when you lose? (or not)

BOTH builds uses chronomancer and has 4 wells. I use this build by getting 3 clones and then using F5. After using F5, I drop the wells and then I wait for F5 to expire and drop the wells again.

FIRST build uses Marauder/power base
SECOND build uses Celestial.
SECOND build uses scepter/shield.
SECOND build uses illusions for maim/ineptitude
BOTH build uses 4 wells

I agree with maintaining a relationship between PvE and WvWer players. The 1st season has taught a lot of things for all servers. We have been trying to entice PvErs into trying out ‘organized’ WvW with our FARM.

FARM is our bridge to get those PvErs into WvW. We try to combine getting something done while having fun. We learn from our mistakes and we are all trying to come up with ideas on how to get more PvErs into WvW. I don’t really want to put a blame on anything with the current scores right now but SF itself. Most of our core wvw people are probably burnt out this past 6 weeks in leagues. I have to admit that some of them are easy. I THINK that most of our players enjoyed the easy week, then boom comes HOD. 2 weeks with them took a toll on a lot of us. We were feeling confident about what will happen in week 7, but holy kitten. DH changed a lot.
Anyways! I dont know what I am trying to say here, I am sleepy lol. But yeah, lol.

Bah! Its only Monday/Tuesday, lets see if SF can catch up. LIke what I always say before a big fight. We got this.

Sorrows Furnace WvW’s community is growing everyday. Not in numbers, but in skill. We have a strong North American presence,but we are lacking Oceanic numbers.

Actually, we have no oceanic coverage lol. If you are looking for challenge and having that Alamo moment during our early morning gap, then Sorrows Furnace is the server for you. A small oceanic guild can have a great impact. Honestly, as a server, we have been converting more PvErs into WvW. More and more players are starting to utilize our Mumble so we can get more organized.

Sorrow’s Furnace could use some night time coverage. SF is primarily a West Coast server. We have a healthy and great PvE community, and a WvW community that is starting to see their full potential. SF is still settling in T6 but our WvWers are coming back from PvE.
