Download CPU-Z and look at the PCI-E Link speed. Is it 16x 8x 4x or 1×. If its below 8x that would account for the low FPS.

Downloaded and checked. It is at x16

Not even close porani. The i7-950 has nearly twice the performance of the two generation older Q6600. I’m starting to suspect that the GTS 450 just doesn’t like this game.

But DJKofee, the Black Citadel isn’t a good place to measure FPS, or maybe it is?

Now I have a much weaker CPU than DJ and a weaker much GPU than either of you and this is what I get when I place myself and DJ’s screen shot location with his settings (oops not quite the same, forgot DoF). And for some reason I’m out performing DJ’s rig. Something else is off.

Tried over in Plains of Ashford, same thing.

Hello guys! I came back to the game and started playing since last week, but recently (in the last few days) I’ve been getting some really low FPS in the game, and not during certain populated events. I’ve tried to put the options into best performance, reinstall & delete and install graphic drivers (nvidia), doing a virus check in the computer, and deleting some stuff, but no luck.
My system information:
-Window 7 Ultimate 64 bits
-Intel® Core™ i7 CPU 950 @ 3.07GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.1GHz
-8192MB RAM
-GeForce GTS 450
Here’s a screenshot of my current configurations in-game (they are autodetect), the FPS don’t exceed 20 nor while fighting, moving or standing still:
