I really like jumping puzzles but this one, I have to admit, is really annoying!

All you need is a little determination and focus you can overcome it!

In fact, after mastering it, it became one of my favourite ones. And the time I need to complete it is getting shorter and shorter…
Another one of my favourites is Spekks’s Laboratory in Caledon Forest!
I like the rush of having to be as fast as you can before the ground falls from underneath your feet!

BUT… gameplay is not exactly the same with different classes/races!
I can do it, with no problem with my sylvari elementalist, but there is one specific jump (along the path that I have defined in case of a mistake so that I can resume the puzzle) that my asura cannot do… Yet!

So, in my opinion is it fun?
- Yes!
Hard?
- Not really if you know what to do!
Annoying?
- You bet! I left this one for last. But that’s part of the challenge!

The problem with this rule is the cultural factor!

People from countries where english isn’t the main language aren’t aware of all (perhaps maybe none) the expressions that can be interpreted as offensive, because only native english speakers are aware.

I am from Portugal and I actually found the name funny because of it’s relation to the character… But of course that I wasn’t aware of the negative impact of the name until exposed here… Because for me is just that… funny!

That’s why I think the ban should not be so promptly applied, because not everyone is aware of that significance!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m in favor of getting those kinds of names out of the game… Just in a more efficient and fair method!

What I don’t get about this policy is: Why allow the so called “inappropriate name” to be entered and then ban?

If you can’t use it then don’t allow it in the first place!

I’m now able to login again, but this is something that started happening after the latest patch.

You can close the topic, but this problem is still often occurring after a game crash.

It seems like (And I could be off by a mile in this diagnostic) the login server is rejecting a new connection from the same IP.

How did you manage to get suspended in just 1 day?!

I guess this is the flavour of the day!

Again a game crash…
And yet again unable to get past the “Downloading 0KB” on the game client….

What is going on?

I mean… I kind of gotten used to the frequent game crashes by now… but this?!

In my case everyone was just finishing killing Zaitan!

At least they could all finish, dispite on player endlessly falling from the airship (bug) and another connection drop at the same time that I did, but in this case he could rejoin.

The logon is working now… But it’s frustating to have to do the whole thing again…

I had the same problem!

I was at the last stage of arah dungeon in story mode when the game crashed!

But when I tried to go back the game client got stuck at 0KB

Deleted everything and installed the game again (since nothing else seemed to work) and now when I try to login even the download process drops to 0KB and I can’t login!

What’s going on?

Since the dailys were redesigned I’ve been able to notice something that may shed some light on this issue.

When the veteran kills objective is up, for quite a number of times, in populated areas (i.e. Cursed Shore), despite delivering some damage to the targets the kill count would not register.

Perhaps everyone is right on their statements. Anet is right about kill giving drop, and players are right about kills not giving drop… The issue could be as simple as a somewhat ineffective kill registering system.

If anyone using bootcamp on a mac can confirm this please post the result here.

I got 20 fps inprovement.

I don’t have a mac to test this tweak, but i’m guessing that anyone running the game via bootcamp will see a great improvement in speed also!

For those of you that are having fps issues on the windows client you can give a bump in performance by doing a very simple thing.

- Access the properties by right clicking on the shortcut to the game executable (if you don’t have one just right click the file and drag it to an clear space on your desktop to create one);

- Click on the compatibility tab;

- Put checks on “disable visual themes” and “disable desktop composition”;

- Save the changes and start the game using that shorcut.
