Also the gem exchange, talk about a turn around. Not sure if Anet devalued them on their own and cut the rates in half internally or not but the exchange rate is a joke now. A month ago 1G would get you anywhere from 365 to 410 gems. Now 1G wont get you 250. 232 as of this morning. Buying gems and trading them for cash on the other hand hasnt risen nearly as much as the other side has fallen. But you still have to sped the same amount of real cash for them.

I’d hate to burst you pretty bubble of indignation, but gem purchase & sale prices have constantly moved in sync as you can see in the attached screenshot of one of the multiple webpages that track gem prices.

So, I went to our borderlands today (Drakkar Lake [DE]) – where we were doing surprisingly well, noticed one particular ‘battle’ indicator on the map, swam into the lake to take a look…..

… and found two dozen bots happily killing Kraits. They were all doing exactly the same thing: blasting away at everything and nothing, no matter if there were enemies or not. Over 80% were wearing the same outfit. Two were even guilded – I’m assuming their guilds didn’t actually invite a bot, but someone is being naughty and getting powerleveled permabanned.

I managed to report several of them, but since they were clustered this close, I’m sure I missed several and possibly reported others multiple times.

These are some of the ‘fishy’ names I read in my screenshots:
Kingwei, Xxwdxssd, Wongtungby, Dddfrgvc, Fhuwura, Eluhna, Grwfeqfe, Gdnfgiewu, Krngdjsys, Ugfughf, Whiing, Hnvgujhty
I actually have more screenshot of this “bot hive” than I posted here.

I’m not sure if there’s a better way to report this, since these morons not only do the usual damage to the game ecosystem any bot does, they also take up slots on the WvW maps – preventing legit players from enjoying them.

So has anybody else observed this before? Especially with such large clusters of bots?

Have you checked the Order of Whispers HQ interior instance? I remember I ran through there during the last days and got a 100% zone completion for getting the one, single POI in there.
