Thank you for the replies. I thought it might be something like that…but still a bit confusing.

It is a bit annoying that my “higher Rank” is now hurting me. I now understand why some people started a new account just for their leaderboard ranking…lol. I won’t be going that route.

I don’t really care about my ranking (either one), but was just trying to understand how it was calculated.

Again, thank you for the responses. I have a better understanding of the math now.

I don’t get it.

I’m not great at PvP, but I don’t suck either.

My Rank is 23% – with 194 Wins – 201 Losses = 49.11%

I don’t understand why I’m at 23%???

Someone else I know has:
Rank 38% – 199 Wins – 221 Losses = 47.38% (Why is he 15% higher than I am??)

Another person I know is:
Rank 60% – 98 Wins – 107 Losses = 47.80% (HUH? Why is this person at 60% Rank))

My Glory Rank is 36 —- I don’t know the Glory Ranks of those mentioned above, but I suspect that’s what is impacting my much lower score.

I tend to solo que all the time, and built up most of my Glory Rank from playing spvp, before tpvp became free. I’ve been tpvping since it turned free.

Can anyone give me some clear insight into what’s going on here? I tpvp for the daily at least 5 times a week, and often 7 times a week.

The reason I’m not uber is because I’m an old guy with slow reaction time, however, experiance compensates for some of that.

PvP Leaderboards question

Hello,

I hope you don’t flame me to harshly for asking this incredibily basic question.

When I look at the MY leaderboard result and it shows a percentage, is it better to be in the low percentage, such as 10% or in the high percentage, such as 90%?

I’m not clear if 10% means I’m in the top 10%, or if 90% is my ranking like a school grade.

I get my win % which I’ll admit is 48.54 % but not sure what my “rank” percentage means.
