I have also received a phising email, it was signed by GM Cuache stating that I have been trying to do illegal transactions, when I clicked the link google advised me that it was a phising site and I did not go any further, I though it was weird since last I played in GW 2 was like 1 week ago and I only have one friend there.

I have been having some issues with my pc while I play GW2, at first it just made me do a hard reset because it froze the pc, now, is just shutting down the pc, it has not happened before with any game.

I can only play for about 1hr before the first crash happens, then, after I start the pc again, it last about 15-20mins top. It has become fustrating because I cannot enjoy the game,

Yes, I’m pretty aware that the counter starts the math from the remaining files to be downloaded, I have even tried it manually.

I got this response from a ticket I made, if anyone is having the same trouble the only way to fix it is downloading the game again.

" If the launcher was closed due to a power outage or drop in internet service, it will not save the progress and will download again from the beginning."

So, what I have come to understand, if your pc crashes while downloading, restart itself, of by mistake you turn off your modem, the only fix is restarting the download, wich makes the repair data archive useless in fact when downloading the first time.

When I was downloading the game, my pc crashed and restarted itself, when I turned it on again, the game started repairing the corrupted data, when the loading bar reached about 50% it froze, and the client showed in the background that it started the download again from scratch, it had 20.000 files remaining before the crash, then, after the failed repair it had 267.551.

Q: Is this normal when it repairs?

I closed the client, and it started the download from scratch. I tried using the -image command line and the -repair command line, none of those worked. I just started the download again but if there was any way to repair the old file, to make the Gw2.exe recognize that it has to repair that Gw2.dat file instead of downloading a new one, I ll be really greatful.

Also, my download speed is about 250kbps, that’s why I’d rather fix the old file instead of downloading the game again, wich I am already doing.
