Well given that they’ve made a paid expansion even though they said they didn’t want to (which is fine this isn’t a complaint about that) I’d like them to recognize some of the other stuff they said they didn’t want/weren’t going to do and reexamine them. Like balancing for pvp and pve because it’s pretty clear they they need separate balance.

The developers are heads-down working on the future content releases. We are also in the middle of launching the game in China. Launching a game in a new country is kind of a big deal. Because of the team’s focus on game development, they are not able to dedicate as much time out of their workday to posting on the forums. While they might have time to read the forums, they don’t necessarily have time to engage in discussion.

I know it’s hard to be patient in this down time between Living World seasons, but please bear with us. As much as you’re craving new content to play, the team is dying for you to play it.

Unfortunately, I can’t give you any information about future content, whether it’s plot spoilers or timeline. I can say that, as a player, I am very excited about the next season, and I cannot wait to see what you all think about it.

Please know that your feedback continues to be important, our devs are still reading (though they may not have time to respond), and we sincerely appreciate your support and you sharing all your thoughts with us (critical or otherwise).

You could give us something to do in the meantime even if it’s just reactivating old content, I’d have fun playing SaB even without new SaB content or even bring back Queen’s Guantlet as a victory hurrah over Scarlet. It sounds like something big is being worked on and I’m excited but there should be something for us to do (or you could turn on SaB and then never turn it off again, we need more permanent things to do during the story updates anyway)

they only capped reward tracks I’m not progressing to rank points or daily (and the reward track thing shouldn’t apply as I hadn’t played yet today)

I logged on today for some pvp and was unable to get any progression, nothing towards my reward track, daily or rank points.

Except the achievement doesn’t even work like that as is. It says when you soulbind but in PvE it awards you for when you buy it and not soulbind (and I’m pretty sure it’s account bind on acquire)

This seems like a really terrible idea. PvP only players don’t want to run dungeons that’s why they’re PvP only. Otherwise we’d call them something like: Players who prefer to PvP but also occasionally branch out and participate in PvE content.

I’ve been really disappointed in trying to get this particular achievement, it can be tough enough to organize people into groups good enough to even succeed at killing them in 6 minutes and then when you do you don’t even get the achievement.

Is it too hard? Respect the awesome work

Well I would challenge anyone who thinks SAB W2 is harder than Zelda 1 to beat the last couple of dungeons! Zelda is WAY harder. Even so, I certainly don’t want to punish anyone for playing anything I make. Quite the opposite. I really, truly, honestly only want to make people have fun when they play my content. Some people have fun with brutal instant kill stuff like Tribulation Mode. But Normal Mode should not feel like that.

Then you should probably put more forgiveness mechanics in event to tribulation mode. It seems like you’re designing with your nostalgia goggles on here because
you keep citing games that were fun 20 years ago. I still enjoy ninja gaiden but I’m lucky enough to have played it when being that punishing wasn’t considered horrible design. Heck it holds up way better than other games from that era but early console games were designed to be super punishing because they were based on arcade design which was, ‘how can we make a game technically winnable but make players spend as many coins as possible.’ Now look at a modern difficult game, let’s say super meat boy. Super Meat Boy would be totally unfair and far too punishing if you weren’t allowed to pick up basically right where you died. What if super meat boy had a life system that would just be cruel. And that’s about where I am on SAB right now, world 2 normal needs way more checkpoints and tribulation mode, honestly could probably use some tweaks though I’d argue that the real problem with tribulation mode is that living story content is temporary so we don’t really get the trial and error time we should for such a game.
