I have a brother and we both live together. Since there is only 1 account for 1 player, I mailed a free trial key to my brother’s email id and he can play the game using it. Is it by any chance bannable?
And from where can my brother upgrade to a free account? And is there any special offer or something if he wants to buy the key from the site?

No problem playing from the same IP or the same computer, as long as you have separate accounts. (Sharing accounts is prohibited.)

I was hoping for some cash incentives for the next account…. But anyways, after the expiry of the trial key, can you buy a retail key after some time and continue the progress in your account?

2nd point continued-
It can be a beneficial for both arena net and the players, as there are many people who need multiple accounts for their family or relatives and they can buy one more account without paying the same price again(same price will discourage some people from buying) using the incentives/gems.

I hope these get implemented.

There are two things I would like to suggest.
1. When we sell the items at the AH and receive gold, we should be able to see which item fetched us how much gold. If we sell multiple items, the gold received from each items should be visible.
2.If we already have a GW2 account and we need another serial key, we should get some incentives or something to buy another key. Maybe it can be made available with gems or a cheaper than 60$. It will be like we can enter our existing serial and we can get a confirmation email to get incentives.

Hello everybody
Me and my bro just bought this game(single copy) a week back and were very excited to play it but we came to know that one account is suited for only 1 player.

1. You remain in the same party after you log in to another character.(not very significant)
2. You can see the chat if you log into another char(I can see what my bro was talking about when i log in to my char)(significant, atleast for me)
3.The gold from the auction house is merged irrespective of whichever character you post the auction from.
4.I cant mail gold to my brother’s character.
5.As we progress, idk what else have arena net changed so that one account is suited for only one person.
6. Only 5 slots in one account- That means only 2 or 3 characters for me.(Yes, i can buy more from gold which is very hard to earn or cash but I have already spent so much money on gw2)

I cant afford to spend another 4k(INR) for buying another copy of gw2. I am sure this problem will be faced by many playing here too.

Hope arena net looks into the problem and provides a suggestion.
