I suddenly got an idea while playing my engineer that I less frequently use 3,5 in the flamethrower kit while doing COF, so why not have dual kits ie equipping 2 kits, one in MH and other in OH similar to dual weapons and you get 1,2 and 3 for the MH kit and 4,5 for the OH kit.

There have been many cases where Ive come fully loaded from a dungeon and wanted to empty my bags or sell items but Ive had to travel very farm to meet a merchant. Example-COF

Since only the first and the fourth attack burn in FT and the fourth one is not quite useful since mobs and bosses move, is getting condition dmg stat on gear useful? Instead why not get gear with +Power +precision +crit dmg

Note that runes give 60% might duration. Use boon duration food.
Then you will have easy 13+ stacks of might just sitting in flamethrower kit.
Spam elixirs on recharge and autoattack with flamethrower and just facetank things. You can reach 20 might stacks for 700 power/condition damage bonus, making your FT and pistol skills hit really really hard.

Sry I am a bit new but where to get these runes? Ive checked the exotic gear vendors.

I am too like many engineers going for the FT build. I had some doubts about it.
Do I need to stack precision or crit damage? Do I equip a rifle or 2x pistols?
How much does condition damage affect the burning from FT?

A feature should be added so that a personal can easily navigate, as it becomes too cumbersome to open map every 5 sec or so. A person should be able to right click on the map and set any spot as destination which should marked by a flag or something.

Dual trait build

It would be nice to have a dual trait build system where you can keep two build at the same time and switch between the two whenever required. Personally speaking, it is a must-add feature as many time I am forced to choose one build thereby sacrificing the other.

That’s what flamethrowers were made for: destroying tanks and buildings and the liquid propellant continuing to burn on the ground, yet in GW2 they utterly suck at destroying structures in general as well as just about everything else.

not better, but more consistent damage
its just the standard berserker gear + rifle traits.
based on cooldown you can shoot 2-3 rifle shots within a flamethrower blast.

Sry but I am a bit new to the game, what exactly are the rifle traits?

The damage of the flamethrower is actually fairly poor, worse than a rifle infact due kit stats, its greatest strength comes from the rapid attack which can be abused via nourishment or snake venon.

A rifle better than Flamethrower? Can you please tell me the build and the stats?

I personally feel that flamethrower is the most viable options in terms of damage atm, so I would like to see the range increasing a bit. In dungeons, it almost feels like I’m in melee range and die a bit fast despite dodging and all. Any thoughts?

Do people let you use this build in dungeons….I hear that guardians are more of a tanky class.
I mean, dont they say that we need a tank guard and not a ranged….

I know there is no system of tank and healer in GW2 so I want to know what role guardians play in dungeons? Coz a guy asked me in AC whether i wanted to semi-tank the boss?

And if I go and do dungeons with a shield+*another wep* combo(to “tank”) then I’ll have to give traits according to the dungeons and then it’ll be a bit difficult to level.

I did ac exp p1 and p2 yesterday at 11 pm, completing both in about 1 hour. So today I went online at about 9.30-10 pm to look for ac exp. I got a group and when leader entered, it said “enter story mode” so he told us to re- /w him and relog. After we were in the group again, he tried to enter but we faced the same problem. So the leader told me that it was happening because of me and kicked me. And after they kicked me, they could enter exp mode again.

So I thought i had never done the story mode and that is why its happening so I got into a group for story. When we entered, I was in but I coludn’t see the rest of the group.

Any explanations?

This question has been bugging me for the past few days, I thought the engineer was ranged class so I rolled it but now I get to know that I’ve to play with toolkit+bombs because playing with pistol+pistol isn’t viable. Thoughts?

Since both the medium armor wearing classes have got a passive signet to increase movement speed, I personally think we should too get a signet. Any thoughts?

I have a short list of suggestions that would greatly help all the players.

1. We should have a trade and inspect feature as mail takes a lot of time.

2. We should be able to see the original level of the person next to his level show in an area.

3. In the personal story, if one gets a dc or has a power cut then when he logs in, he could be given an option to start the story from the previous checkpoint instead of restarting it as some stories are a bit lengthy.

4.There should be a channel where the whole server can interact, similar to the “global” channel of WoW so that it’ll be easy to advertise for dungeons, get players and help players in other areas to do dungeons located in a specific area. Example- If you are in say, Black citadel and if you want to do Fractals then you dont have to travel to Lion’s Arch and spend time looking for a raid, instead you can level in your area and get to know if there is any raid to Fractals going on.

I have a level 53 decent geared engineer with 2x level 51 pistols and a level 15 guardian. I am surprised that my level 15 guardian does almost the same or more damage using 1(auto attack).

And if I use the other special abilities my guardian does way more damage than my engineer.

This is utter nonsense! Are pistols insanely bugged? Should I use any other weapon?
