Guild Wars 2

I am brand new to gw and am curious if there is a better set of slot skills I should grab. It all seems like a lot to take in so anh help is appreciated

Ok so I can Log into the forums but I keep getting:

“the game client is unable to access to the log-in server at this time. This is most commonly caused by firewall or router settings, security applications, or connecting through a campus network.”

I was actually playing the game and then it kicked me off when I decided to leave an instance. This is what has been occurring ever since I was kicked off. I have not made any changes to my computer so I do not understand how it could be my firewall all of the sudden.
