Guild Wars 2

Hi there,

I’m looking for a hardcore PvE Guild. Preferably with a “usual” five-man dungeon group with trusted rotators on the side so as to have the least downtime as possible. I’ve done all explorable dungeons with the exception of Sorrow’s Embrace (I’ve been lazy about it). I’m currently working on getting my 3rd character to level 10 fractals, after that I’ll push one to 20. I’m looking for multiple runs of dungeons/fractals per day.

*Continues from Guild Wars its 7 year legacy onto Fort Aspenwood
*Our guild consists of many casual and social players.
(However, ISB also has a few semi-hardcore players like myself. Does having 3 80s and missing only 6 paths count as somewhat hardcore?)
*ISB offers a website, forums, and calendar we use regularly to coordinate guild events such as dungeons and organized WvW
*We have separate officers dedicated to PvE dungeons, PvP, and WvW

Intrepid Shadow Blades [ISB] is a guild from GW1 for 7 years.
We’re located in Fort Aspenwood.
We use vent.
We have a website with a calendar we use to coordinate guild events.
We’ve got separate officers dedicated to dungeons, PvP, and WvW.
Most of the guild is casual and very social but there is also room for those of us, like myself, that are semi-hardcore.

I’m in my 20s studying physics, not married, but have an awesome girlfriend =)

As my first post in the GW2 forums I would just like to say, "Holy kitten, it’s Dulfy!" I’m a big fan.

That aside, I would like to extend an invitation to you to our guild Intrepid Shadow Blades [ISB]. I just became an officer like 10 minutes ago so you’re also the first person I’m inviting, "Yay for me!"

I’ve been in this guild since Guild Wars 7 years ago. I’ve seen it rise and fall but I’ve stuck around because of the friends I’ve made. There were moments where we played casually, DoA runs, FFF, Codex Arenas (I always thought it was boring but the crowd I rolled with made it bearable). ISB has it’s own website with calendar events and we use vent to communicate.

The guild just made a recent transaction (last night) from Dragonbrand to Fort Aspenwood mainly for two reasons: DB got abandoned, and we have members from our former alliance in GW1 that are on that server. So hooray more friends!

A little about me, I have 3 level 80s. I switch fervently between my Mesmer and my Warrior. I personally run TA and CoF religiously. The rest I cycle on occasion when I see a good opportunity for a decent group. Except SE... I just hate dredge :@

So how does this apply to you?
Well, our guild is fun. Because it has me. And hypothetically, you. I definitely run dungeons the most in the guild (hence the promotion to officer). I’ve done almost every path in EM. I try to get in at least 3 of the 20 min runs at least every other day. And if I can’t make a full party of guild members (which is my goal) or friends outside of the guild I can definitely make a party pretty fast.

I hope to see you in ISB, or at the very least in-game :)
