I’m not cheap, I’ve bought keys in the past. But if they are going to be something that can only be bought…make it worth my money I work for. If you’re not (which is right now) make the keys a little more abundant…not a lot…but a little.
Because when the most effective way to obtain something in the game is to chain-create and delete a new toon over and over, there is an issue. Not sure why they made them “drop” anyway…and I use that term extremely loosely.
I’ve been playing solid since launch, all professions lvl 80 and then some, done all content…I’ve maybe seen 1 key drop outside of a quest reward. It’s pretty ridiculous IMO, this should be increased definitely.
I’ve bought maybe 5-15 keys in my past but I won’t anymore. The risk VS the money you put in just isn’t worth it. I’ve been farming keys with new toons as of late and have still gotten squat. I’m fine with the crappy drop rate of chests, that’s the point, but the influx of keys should be increased.
I apologize if this was already asked elsewhere, but is there a time frame on how long we’re able to get Fused weapon Tickets —> Skins? Or is this something that will perma-stay as a random reward for BLTCs from now on?
I agree with the OP, and have felt this mental anguish. Weeklies in place of Dailies would be a perfect fix! It would net the same rewards, yet not force players to log on Daily to accomplish them. Brilliant!
I have an Ascended ring I bought from FotM vendor [Band of the Brotherhood] and have the appropriate mats to make it infused (1Shard,3Globs,5Vials) yet that doesn’t matter because the ring won’t even show up in the Mystic Forge to combine. If I try to manually pit it in from my Inventory it will not let me. I’ve infused many rings and this is the first time this has happened. Is anyone else having this problem? I check the forge daily hoping it’ll show up on the list but never does
We get Detha to the Hall of Champions (northern most spot on the map) and she will NOT trigger the Cannon-Repair event. We tried every trick in the book…including killing her and reviving her, WP’ing and running back, Clearing the entire path for her…nothing. PLEASE FIX! 2 broken Dungeons in 2 day, can I be rewarded for my wasted time??
We finished blocking the attacks from the Giants hurling projectiles at us, the NPCs told us we needed to take the chopper, then the above happened. Both Times.
When we first get on the ship, and get past the first row of Giants, on the part that says “Board the Chopper and Destroy the Draconic Battery.” the Chopper is flying (stuck) in the distance and we have no way to get on it. Ran it twice in a row and same exact thing happened both times.
Can you not get this instance working correctly? I feel like it’s been a mosh-pit of bugs and time-sinks from Day 1. If you can’t fix it, hire someone to help groups through your bugs as they go. Getting very frustrating.
Quit starting these topics, they have already said they will not be extending the Halloween events and thus moving on to their next big content patch.
Completed on all 8 characters, one of all the races, and a duplicate of charr, human, and sylvari.
No speed boosts, except I tried the trait boost on my charr ele. Seemed to mess up my jumps more than help due to already doing it so many times on regular speed. You just have to get it once then it’s much easier. Got to the point I’d take an alt in there and just complete it first run.

Calm down! It can be something that you can decide through the options tab, just like you can choose to have fast-cast ground targeting in the options. It’s ridiculousness that this option was never implemented to begin with, and hasn’t yet due to MOST people asking for it. Make it an option, simple as that, those who don’t want it or want to have both options can have it. Easy Peasy.
I found out today, playing my engineer, that I can use my Grenade Belt underwater and I don’t have to ground-place every ability (since they are all 5 ground placement abilities). And it’s so much nicer to have that option rather than having to place EVERY attack. Can this be added in the Options (I’m sure it’d be pretty easy) to enable the use of placement skills on your Target, rather than manual Placement?
I know there’s the “Ability goes off where Mouse Clicker is” but that one seems much less practical and annoying when I use it.
