The game has Megaservers which means that everyone playing at any time is put in the fewest possible numbers of maps shards so any map you go to should have people playing on it unless it’s a new shard just opened up or an old one that emptied out.

You can go ahead and try Crystal Desert. If it doesn’t suit you, after 7 days you can delete all your characters (after putting all non soulbound items in your bank) and transfer for free to any server of your choice in either the NA or EU server group.

“The transfer fee is waived for accounts without any active characters. This allows players just starting out to change to another world that is not full. You also can transfer without cost if you delete all your existing characters. The next time you log on without any characters, you will be prompted to choose a new home world. I have recently taken a look at Guild Wars 2 again. As a EU player i would also like to join a livestreamer out there in his guild, but he’s on a NA server, Crystal desert to be specific. Now, I am very unsure about what region I am picking. The only real question that is keeping me from it at this point is, would I have players to play with on Crystal Desert as my primetime would be around 18:00 (6pm) (GMT+2), a few hours earlier and a few hours later, or would that run out and make a huge difference from the EU servers?

So for the first time im having a giveaway if everything goes as planned as i hope it does!
I will be giving away 1 or 2 nether guest keys on Friday 29.11-2013 at around 6pm GMT+2 or a few hours later.

Theese keys once you activated it will be valid for 72 hours, not gaming time, but real time. 3 days.
The game on steam is 20 or 30€ / $ and those 3 days will introduce u to the game at the moment.

Its a game in alpha, so its new, but still awesome. Its a survival game, abit like DayZ but with more alien-ish monsters
than zombies.

I will be using a app so that you type in a keyword and i roll on that, so bots wont actually get it, and it will be fair
for everyone.

The answer is, its still a game key, no matter if its a 1 minute or a permament key. And if you don’t TRY to get viewers,
you WON’T get viewers, so there you go!

Well i dont think u should rush through with each class, i mean, with the previous replies i understood that you need to understand the game aswell.
Don’t give up, ever, since as u said, its quite much new content comming all the time, and Theres..Replaying thats good, WvW, Instances, grinding, just having fun and more

1. Maybe true, but what do u do after u leveled all those 5 slots, did all quests and the map thing? Its a kittenloads of things to do, but i still think it needs a endgame. Though i guess guild wars 2 point of endgame is instances and mobs as they get harder along, and the PVP sorts.
2. Yeah, sometimes theres worldevent, i do know about that. But 50? Woow..50 in AC would be weird , but fun aswell i guess. This problem is solved since 50 would be a quite big raid if u actually experiment abit with it.
3. That guild mission looks really great TBH, and then i mean it

Some questions.
1. How do u know, about the endgame part? Im sure they’ll trying something. No endgame content = No huge increasing player amount.
2. Instanced raids, well guild events, world events and such is good then i guess. How many can u be in a party by the way? If ur like..8 in a party and go in a instance it might feel abit like a smaller raid? xD
3. Anyone know what kinda guild missions, since it got admitted quite many times now?

Hey guys, just a quick post here.

I was playing WoW a few years ago and i gotta say i would absolutely LOVEEE if u could do a few things. First of all make more endgame content. Not that im highest level yet, but from what i heard, theres no raids or anything. That points to another subject, i really would love raids in this game, not just boss fights which doesnt happen too often, because i did love all the late nights of playing. Also that brings me to yet another thing, guild events, i woulda bsolutely love aswell if guilds coudl be more active using teamspeak and such, if raids become, also which took its place, world bosses.
If guilds could have late nights where u run around in a big team it would be really awesome. Like in WoW when u raid a instance. I barely see anyone from the same guild walk around, so i think this would be a great improvement. Thanks for ur time reading it, and i would appreciate a ton if u can add it!:)

Well, not just of this thread but of other facts also, i couldn’t say that GW2 is a sinking ship, “RIP GW2” or something like that,
I would more say the game is improving ,heres some facts about that
-The game is quite new, especially to be a MMORPG
-The game recently released a new zone, so people got more to do
-The game recently released new dungeons, people got more to do there also
-The game has no monthly fee, so people are not “losing money” on not playing it, as games with a monthly fee has often cards, when u inserted one of those people actually play the time as long as they can , because otherwise they would “lose money” on not playing it.

As i said, the game is just improving for me and i guess for many, many others also. And i belive that this game is everything BUT going down.

I would want to clear some things up, im a guy, that when i ever hear “The game is dying” my morale for that game sinks like a stone in water, so i want to clear things up, is this game dying or not?
In my opinion, and in opinions of people ingame i would say, and also those.. No. As this game doesnt have a monthly fee, people don’t “waste money” on not playing, as if theres a monthly fee u wanna play that time, right?
This is still a thing that doesn’t stops the stone from sinking, i would really want honest answers, and abit more than just 2-3 words.

I know many of theese topics has been created but not any that really are specificed on me so i decided to make one,

Im playing a Warrior at the moment but looking for a future caster, but cant decide if its Elementalist or Mesmer,

Positive With Elementalist :
-Good Damage
-Direct Hits
-Fast Killer

Negative with Elementalist :
-Slow Castings
-Not really good surviving

Positive with Mesmer :
-Good surviving
-Seems fun to play as for the clones

Negatives with Mesmer :
-Seems hard to play PvE
-Seems hard to solo stuff

Thats some opinions i have, now, what one should i take? I was going for Elementalist, but then i saw a Mesmer and started thinking about it again, and again, and again..

I will probably be playing Warrior for a while , but when i want a caster, i want it, soon or later,

Also atleast for me, it seems like Elementalists can handle mobs thats 2-3 levels higher ,but Warrior dies if its 2 levels higher? Or is it just me doing something wrong? Help me guys!
