Actually after ArenaNet solve the issue between veteran and new players by offering an extra character slot which is good,but result in some of those in deluxe/ultimate buyers unhappy over it.From what I see their issue is the extra slot,which I think can solved better if they reduce the price of standard for Veterans to $40(without free slot) instead of $50(with free slot).This can help solve those unhappy to feel special with their deluxe/ultimate edition(unchanged remain same) and those who are in standard that want an extra slot can buy in gem store which result the same as the $50 one. Just my 2cents.
