The day before reset has, for as long as I’ve been playing, been pretty dead. It’s the end of the matchup and a lot of people think the matchup is over and either just kitten and ktrain or just go to PvE/PvP; I personally do both depending on how I’m feeling.
Furthermore Friday is, for the majority of the playerbase, the end of the week. They get home ready to start the weekend and, if reset is moved to a Saturday, come home to a dead evening, followed by a full day of nothing much happening, because very few people want to bother in a matchup that pretty much everyone considers to be already over, we see that already on a Thursday. That’s a large portion of a weekend where WvW would be nowhere near as fun, and time I’m likely to spend in other games or gamemodes.
Reset has been for a while basically my “reward” for getting to the end of the week, something really fun to look forward to when I’ve been bogged down in work all week, so I massively prefer it be on a Friday, then I can enjoy the whole weekend of WvW being active and not just Saturday evening/most of Sunday (on which most people need to go to bed early ready for work).
