Magic find doesn’t affect the quantity of loot you get it affects the quality of loot you find. With a higher MF you don’t get more loot you get more rare drops. It only affects drops off corpses, however in the pavilion the ‘bags of loot’ you see on the ground are the drops from the mobs corpses since they are illusions put on top of watchknights they don’t leave a cropse they leave a bag.

This is why you get more destroyer lodestones as destroyers have a chance of dropping them, with higher MF you have a higher chance of getting a lodestone to drop instead of a white/blue item.

Got it just now using this method, though I used Signet of the Wild instead of frost spirit to keep me alive a little bit longer. I got downed but was able to finish him off thanks for the help.

Does this work for the High Stakes Gambler 5 gambit achievement if you take squeamish as well?

Pet is ranger’s dps, and that amount of AOE in liadri battle is hard to make pet survive.

I can clear 5 gambits on tier 3 with no problems using ranger but I can’t beat Liandri with ranger.

How did you do the 5 gambit achievement with ranger? I’ve been trying to do it with deadeye and just don’t have the dps to kill him before he kills me.

(Also I’ve beaten Liadri so I’m in the opposite position to you!)

I have been getting terrible lag issues whenever I’ve tried to play dragon ball. I do not have any issues with lag in PvE and WvW, but as soon as I join a dragon ball game I start rubberbanding like crazy with terrible skill lag. It makes dragon ball completely unplayable for me. Also when I click the little door icon to leave a dragon ball instance it throws up a lost connection error message and boots me to the character select screen.

This is only an issue with dragon ball and is preventing me from getting the two associated achievements, dragon ball might actually be fun for all I know but I haven’t had a chance to play a proper game yet!

Is anyone else getting really bad lag in dragon ball? The lag was so bad for me I could barely move, I just kept rubber banding. Outside of dragon ball I have no problem, but as soon as I join a game it all goes to crap. Also when I click the little door to leave the instance it makes me lose connection and boots me back to the character select screen.

It’s pretty annoying since I would like to actually play dragon ball.
