game keeps crashing….and now whenever there is a crowded area or event FPS drops very low. game is becoming very frustrating.

Hi all, In case someone else faces the same issue i was facing (although I doubt anyone will).
The cause of the issue is a .dll file called sliplsp. this file is installed with accelerator applications such as onspeed which i was using.

When i uninstalled the application and removed this .dll the download started normally with no issues

I don’t know what the error exception: c0000409 means and I can’t find any similar case on any forum referring to this same error

Has anyone faced a similar issue. I cant seem to find anyone with the same exception error?

Hi, my dowload is not starting at all but I would like to try this solution maybe it will work “hopefully”.

When i launch Gw2Setup.exe it does not even ask me where I want to install and creates gw2.exe in a temp folder. can i follow the above steps on that created gw2.exe?

Also do I need to move gw2.exe somewhere other than temp before following the steps?

Hi Svlyn, I’m facing a similar issue with downloading the game for the past 2 days and have submitted a support ticket and created a topic regarding my issue but with no reply. Appreciate if you can help me by replying with more details what the support team advised you to do. also how did you contact them? is there a phone number I can call?

I purchased the game 2 days ago via the website and downloaded the client, saved it in a folder on my C drive and tried to run it. the launcher crashes at 0KB and below is part of the error details

I have also attached the test report from gameadvisor

BTW, i tried the MSCONFIG steps and it did not solve the issue
