Fist of all i must tell you that i only play one class ,that’s ranger and i have close to 1k hours on it ,~15k kills in WvW.
Played a melee ranger ~90% of the time and allmost all the rangers i’ve seen are just bad,squishy bow users.
If you wana roam just remember that our strenght (as i see it) is the ability to dodge a lot.The pet is very important in small number fights,it supliments your damage regardless of what spec you are.Don’t let him die ,swap when he’s low health,or at least try to.
If you run in organized groups allways have Healing Spring and Entangle sloted,i found those very usefull.
I see from people vids that our class is not that strong compared to the other ones when it comes to … every aspect of pvp basicaly
but i find it a lot of fun and challengeing,maybe i just like punishing myself, so ignore advice from other people,it’s all about you,and what you enjoy.
