WvW should never be full, there should never be a que. Having three maps exactly the same but different “home” servers in the main keep is also completely lame. Couldn’t get creative at all? just copy and paste the same freaking map… very stupid.
What’s the point of WvW? I don’t seem to get any benefit from participating in it. No new skills, nothing like realm abilities…. nothing. WvW needs major tweaking, the way it is right now is so boring and meaningless.
Why hasn’t anyone even came close to making a game like Dark Age of Camelot? No one has come close to making a game as good as daoc. WOW was the first poop stain to get released and now more crap keeps flooding the market.

This pc hauls so much better than my old system. even without my graphics card i can play in pvp and wvwvw with better graphics than before and stay at a constant 30 fps at almost all times.
Didn’t have much issues setting everything up. It’s crazy how having a computer that can run this game makes it completely different than how it seemed to me before. I F’n love this game now.
As someone else posted I got the i7 for 229.00 so it was cheaper than what I’ve seen the i5 3570k’s going for (319.00 I think) so that’s why I got the i7. I installed windows 8 last night… and well… im installing windows 7 right now. I didn’t like 8 at all, maybe will move to it later on down the road. I did a little digging last night and from the bench mark tests done windows 8 is slightly faster than 7 in most aspects but not by much. Thanks again for the replies, can’t wait for my freaking graphics card to get here now!!!
I’ll be putting it together, and feel very comfortable doing so. The copy of windows 8 i got came with a 32 and 64 bit install disk. If my components need to be adjusted at the BIOS level, do you think most information on how to make those changes would be online?
Ah forgot to mention, I went with windows 8 because it was $58.99 vs paying $100+ for windows 7. Is windows 8 really that bad? tbh i havent even read reviews or looked into it, just bought it on a whim cause it was a cheap OS.
No SSD yet, will get one next weekend. I wasn’t sure if I would need to OC the i7 for GW2 at all? From what I’ve read with the hyper 212 was that people are getting very good cooling from it, and less issue of a failure. The thing holding me back from a water cooler at this point in time is a few things. I have never oc’ed anything, so it’s still a little intimidating if I screw something up and burn up components. Higher chance for a failure with a water cooler, if my heatsink fan goes out it still dissipates heat. I might burn a cd or two with the optical drive but it won’t get a lot of use other than that.
Why would the E3 be better? isn’t that a slower cpu than the i7?
all the gtx 670 cards i’ve seen were 400+ and I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of cash. I got the i7 for $229.00 on sale today, otherwise I was planning on a i5 3570k. before sales tax I bought all the components for under $1000. with sales tax everything was $1,034.xx. I wanted to stay under 1 grand for this build. I do appreciate your opinions tekwiz, thanks.
So the main factor for building myself a better pc was to be able to play this game in pvp with a better fps than 8-12 and hopefully be able to play WvWvW. Heres the spec’s:

I just got most of the parts tonight, and want to atleast try to get the hard drive formated and OS installed so I can install all my other crap tomorrow. waiting on my graphics card, but should be here in a few days.
My main question, is will I be able to atleast play PvP with no lag? on my old PC (feels kitten good to say that!!) I would literally get 8-12 fps consistantly in pvp. WvWvW would be ideal to play in, I’m an old school DAOC player and I love big battles. Hope to see you guys out there soon!!!
