Why is it required to explore the WvW maps to aquire 100% map completion?
It cripples the chances to get legendary weapons for players on servers who either lost most of their WvW guilds due to server stacking for tournaments, or just never had that many to begin with.
I, personally, am stuck at 95% because most of the WvW guilds on my server (Sanctum of Rall) jumped ship.
I fully intend to try my hardest to get that 100%, but it’s probably gonna take at least twice as long to get that last 5% than it did to get the first 95%, especially since the deck is stacked against me…
Again, I ask: Why is this a requirement? Why make us explore these areas when some of us are at such a disadvantage?
If you’re looking around using the right mouse button when this happens, then you’re running into a problem with the game’s coding.
Basically, the game uses ANY mouse button to target, and does so when the button goes down, not on a full click. It’s quite annoying.
I had trouble with this during the winter event. It went away when the event was disabled.
Yesterday, however, the problem returned. I played solo, without problems, from morning until about 4:30 PM, when I finally convinced my friends to play again after 2 months. As soon as they join me, MEGA HEAVY SUPER SPECIAL ULTRA DEATH LAG OF THE APOCALYPSE!! (REALLY cool, right? Invite friends back to a game, then having to ditch them because of lag and disconnects.)
The lag is NOT on my end, and the game is essentially unplayable due to heavy lag and constant disconnects, regardless of what I’m doing in-game.
I am suffering from this predicament as well. Adding “/clientport 80” to the target line of my shortcut worked for ONE session, then became useless, as the problem resumed the next time I launched the game. I am now at the point where I am allowed no more than ten seconds of gameplay before I receive an “error code 7” message. I beseech you, ArenaNet, to fix this posthaste! ’Tis unbearable!
