Eochaidh.4106 – I never knew what that meant, sweet now I do! I realised there is a couple of people in Blacktide with it

Entity.3408 – Yeah I’m 69 at the moment, and teleportation is over 1 silver. That’s why I am trying to explore all the starter areas first and avoid the higher level areas. So far I’m sitting on 50% completion.

Soothsayer.9476 – Ahh I thought WvW was included but I wasn’t sure of it, now I am though. I will probably start when Xaoc Races off and covers the map.

So let me get this straight:
1) You want the better support spec and profession
2) You list 2 options, the first of which is a far inferior option for support for that profession, and the second is probably the best or second best support option for that profession
3) You want us to help you choose between those two.

The only appropriate answer to a very uninformed enquiry is a very ill-conceived answer, which I will give to you now – play what you want to play, bro.

Classes seem fair to me

Who drank all the milk in my cup of care!?

Anyways, saying combat is more than just toe to toe strength to prove that classes are balanced is invalid because every other class can use tactics and wit. It doesnt change the fact the some classes are weaker than others.

Tactic is a key factor to pvp, in fact, it is most likely the majority holder for successful matches. Indeed some classes are weaker than others, in the sense of 1 variety of combat, but in another variety of combat the weaker may be the stronger, vice-versa. If you could, would take the time out to describe a situation where you felt weaker.

Sometimes standing toe to toe isn’t the smartest of ideas, you need to escape, learn new tactics and maneuvers. I know for a fact that being a ranger requires a lot of skill in pvp, you have to avoid close combat, and sometimes even ranged combat. However, you have to take the good with the bad, even if you lose a couple of matches in a row, doesn’t mean you didn’t learn anything. If you find the elementalist is killing you faster than you are able to kill him, perhaps you need a new strategy. A good example of strategy would be maneuvering into a position that allows for you to gain the advantage. As a ranger I sometimes need to run, and the best thing to do is change weapons, use a skill and continue running. Meanwhile, I am also looking for advantage points. I will climb up to a cliff and then take them down from there, or better yet run into a bunch of my team members. In conclusion, combat is more than just toe to toe raw strength, it is also tactics and wit.
