Bovive, ty, I appreciate your points and that is how I expected the system to work so thank you for confirming what I suspected, hence my attempts to solve my issue by posting on the forum, but I think ArenaNet are the only people with the resources to sort it out. As I said above, was a little surprised when the system was not allowing me to join the new guild and leaving the old guild was obviously the wrong choice in an attempt to resolve the problem at the time, thanks for your time

OK, some of the fine detail, I had all my characters in my old guild, all representing that guild, and all should still be in that guild… I left my old guild with my highest level character as I could not accept the invite to the new guild as it was saying I was already in a guild.
My attention was drawn to the problem when I logged in on an alt character and I received a message from the GM of the new guild drawing attention to the fact I wasn’t showing up as representing the new guild (this was a character I had not left the old guild with). Upon checking all my alt characters they were all in the new guild but not representing… when checking further on my alt characters nowhere was there a mention of the old guild, I was also unable to access any guild bank as at that point I wasn’t representing the new guild on my alts (which is understandable).
So where is the old guild which should have my alts in and two people who haven’t played since about the end of the first week after launch?
AreanaNet, I think your the only ones who will be able to sort this one out…

Hi, I started a guild on launch, had a few perks, bought (ingame gold and Pound Sterling) some extra guild bank space and put a pile of stuff in it…
I moved one of my Characters to another guild to join some friends but now have no access to my old guild via my alt characters, how do I access my original guild and guild bank with the Characters I did not transfer to the new guild?
Thanks Endless for your comments, yeh, aware its anti spam messaging, was just more interested in making ArenaNet aware that even though I was not spamming it was kicking in and maybe they want to take a look at it so it’s not suggesting people are spamming when actually they aren’t… also the fact that while it is applied (incorrectly in this case) it is actually stopping communication with other players which is all part of playing an MMO, not really acceptable when I have paid hard cash to play. just for info I was also saying ‘thank you’ in full as well as abbreviated maybe a total of 7-8 times over a two hour+ session so maybe it is over reacting.
Thanks Igopewpew too, yes I’m fully aware of the support account is separate from the game account and I have previously created the support account myself. The issue was one of one atempt to get into my support account and account disabled. Again, I was more suggesting to ArenaNet that one attempt to log into my support account, possibly my having got it wrong at my end with the log in details, then my support account being locked out so I couldn’t get into the support section even if my life depended on it, again, is not ideal in this world of a million passwords and log ins. (I am aware, at the ripe old age of 52 and having used computers in my daily life and work since the BBC Acorn, Commodore 64 and Amiga the need in this day and age for security etc.).
My philosophy: If you don’t report problems or issues then people will assume nothing is wrong or issues could be examined to improve the service if people don’t raise them.
Ok, two things:
1. Can you please tell me why I get a message in game that says ‘Your message was suppressed due to excessive messaging’ ( understand what it is saying but can you tell me why I get that message when all I have done since logging in to do this evenings event is say ‘ty’ to a few people for rezz’s (and not many may I add before you try to say I said ‘ty’ 100 times!).
2. When logging in to Support to register the problem I was given one opportunity to log in and was then given message ‘The username or password you entered is incorrect or your account has been disabled.’ again I understand what it is saying but one opportunity when I may have inadvertently used the wrong log in (bearing in mind I play WoW, GW2, and several other games all requiring different log ins).

Where is Phase 2, nothing seems to be happening, a clue at least please
Found this a big disappointment so far, problems:
Initial event 8pm (GMT on Friday) – Disconnected several times (approximately 8-9 times in first half hour), when actually logged in suffered horrendous lag. to point where I was completely naked (all gear damaged) almost immediately I could do anything.
Moved on to do investigation chain and got as far as Noll at about 9:30pm (GMT) and spent the next 7 hours stood in the Caledon Forest at a bugged Noll. In the mean time anything else going on was completely missed.
Logged in Saturday afternoon and Noll still not fixed, spent till 7pm (GMT) trying to do Noll event… no success and preying for the fix to arrive some time soon.
I will update on Saturday event and subsequent goings on should there be anything further to report.
P.s At current time I have just about killed nothing and collected nothing… not bad for an event thats been running almost 24 hours and I have spent 12-14 hours logged in
Saturday Event, 8:10pm, no event!
