Like the title said it, it’s pretty simple. After the new patch for a week or so, the Kratkin only has day effect day and night. There is no more night effect for Kraitkin, which is kinda sad. I liked the night effect more than the day effect and now I only can see the the day effect even at night. I’d like that to be fixed.
Yes now a few days after I think now I understand how this mechanics works. I always wanted to see how are my conditions removing and I couldn’t saw only conditions. Than suddenly in Malchor leap some diseased mobs which usually gave me conditions I saw that now it is only 1 condition on me and I saw a burning circle. Strange is that I never saw any conditions me at all only 1. I think now I understand that this cleansing fire is working so fast that the human eye cannot see that the 3 conditions are there because it was already removed. I think I have noticed this like 3 times just even the fire circle thing is happened so fast because I never knew when it will happen.
Thats why I thought it is not working in PVP because I always had a ton of conditions on me but now I understand that it worked there as well I couldn’t notice. It was so fast that I didn’t noticed that it removed but I got another conditions too. Now I understand it that you cannot see the 3rd condition on you because it removes it faster. Hmm now I come to think of it that maybe I gave too much credit for this trait. I thought that now the life is going to be easier specially in PvP but it turns out that I cannot benefit so much on this trait because Necromancers and Mesmers can spam conditions on me so I still can get afterwards a bunch of condition.
Anyway now I understand the mechanics better for this trait and it seems that it is working this trait afterall and I apologies that before I accused that this trait wasn’t working.
This is the many conditions I have and I didn’t see that it triggered. But now I think that if I see 7 conditions only from the necromancer than I might to change my traits because even if it works, 4 conditions still remain on me and if he can keep to give on me conditions than I have to wait another 40 seconds which I cannot last that long on a fight.
Well if that trait is working functionally than it seems only for me isn’t working. After I saw that it was posted that the trait functions great, I was in PVP to test it out and I watched it from a mesmer just giving me conditions and it went even to 4 condition.
From a Necromancer I saw on me 7 conditions at me and that was the 1st one I was fighting and I died faster than ever… My traits now are 30 fire, 20 air, 10 water and 10 arcana. Fire has VI, VIII, XII; Air has V, VI; Water has VI and Arcana has V, I am using staff. I do not know but I never saw the conditions cured on me. Eighter it doesn’t cure the conditions at all OR the necromancers and mesmers have like 10 conditions pretty much at the same time with +5 stacks and can spam and I didn’t noticed that from 10 conditions have cured only 3. One of these 2 possibilities can be but I think it can’t be that a class to have 10 conditions can it? Otherwise the cleansing fire is hardly worth to go on fire trait…

Hi there.
I watched the forums a couple of times here and there and I am surprised that no one posted yet this bug. Anet promised some new traits for elementalist which can go to fire while still having some removing conditions like the cleansing fire trait which can trigger after you have 3 condition damage on you and that will clear those conditions while burning the enemies around you with 40 second cooldown.
Thing is IT DOES NOT WORK. Yes it sais what it does the Fire Trait VIII but I never saw an automatic cleansing fire not even if I had 3 or 4 or 5 conditions on me in pvp or in dungeons or in the world. I don’t recall any cleansing fire animation ever since the new update and I relied on that skill.
I don’t know if it a bug or made for purpose like a good joke, but for now I chose to believe that it’s a bug and later we’ll see. I really hope that the developers will look into that trait and fix it very soon. I am wondering that no one found out this bug since now and no one posted on the forums, or I haven’t found it. Because it is almost a week ago since the new traits are up and since I never saw any complaint about this issue than I thought I have to post is. And please let me know if any of you have the same problems and if the developers are aim to fix this bug.

I am playing mostly an elementalist and I think that elementalists should have a huge power, many buffs and spells and a low HP. I can see that elementalists have very low HP which I don’t mind but I think that the power is not that great as it should be. After all if elementalists have the lowest HP from all the classes than they should have to greatest power in exchange. Here may have a bit bigger power than other classes but not as essential as how low their HP is. Thats my opinion.
But I have 2 proposal.
1. Most spells from the Staff Ellementalist are slow and you need to put the Area of Effect in a good place, but other players can dodge it. Thats fine, but I have the proposal that if
A: Elementalists have low HP and low defense so low survivability
B: Elementalists need to evade much
C: Staff Elementalists spells are veeeeryyy slooow to cast
Those 3 disadvantages should be compensated to have at least more power on them. . Because if you put some Ice Spike or Eruption they are slow to cast and the effect comes later on and the other player can dodge it easily which is okay. But if those spells are so slow than if it hits somehow the other players than let it hit him good. After all they have like 3 seconds to evade that and they can see the red circle and thats why those spells are not as great because they need many time to cast. Or if you don’t want to hit that much than at least pot that cast to be faster…
2. This point is the MOST IMPORTANT THING what I want to address the Developers. It is about the MIST FORM and the VAPOR FORM skill. It is a good skill and all but there is a HUGE MISTAKE on it. If an Elementalist is crippled or imobilized, or anything similar, if they transform into a Mist form than they should have free themselves ALL OF CONDITIONS THEY HAD! All of it! That would be logical! If they were immobilized and turned into a Mist Form than it should be able to break that immobilized condition too and all of the conditions because if you enter in the Mist Form you should be able to free yourself from physical conditions because lets face it the main thing: WHILE IN MIST FORM PHYSICAL CONDITIONS HAVE NO BUSINESS IN THE SPIRIT WORLD!! I guess that’s why you named that skill a Mist form but need to be than a true Mist form so can be freed from all of the conditions.
And turning into a smoke of some kind how can you still keep that smoke immobilized? It’s illogical and thats what happens now.
Now I would propose to have that Mist form to be reduced from 75 seconds to lets say 50 seconds or if not than to be in Mist Form in like 5 seconds instead of 3 because it is a good skill but you can do it very rarely because of the high cooldown and very few skills are really good for elementalists.
But the main thing which is a MUST CHANGE in Mist Form and Vapor Form skill is that if you enter the Mist Form there is no question and no debate that all of your previous physical conditions you had, must be cured because in spirit world those conditions have no effect.
Well if you want to know I woke up from my sleep and I found out that the game was working after all and I realized that it was only 10 minutes left for me to complete the remaining 2 tasks and I took my chances, maybe I can finish it but I needed 11 minutes. Yes you’re right, now it is not such a big deal just at the moment I felt a little bad but I think from now on I will complete the daily as soon as I can
Yes I know and understand what you wrote and those are valid reasons, there is a lot of work to keep running the internet and servers and problems can always happen, I am understandable also but at my previous post I wanted to say that we humans have feelings specially when you see you lose something you almost completed it.
If my daily completion would have been only at half or nowhere than I wouldn’t complain at all but I am sure you know the feel when you almost completed it and you just needed 1 single minute (to craft the 10 items) and pof…already refreshed and failed.
Of course this thing after a while it won’t really matter but at that point it did and I bet you felt something similar in real life or anywhere when you did everything well and than failed right before the finish.
But of course the good side is that now the game works fine and we can go back to play and the todays daily I made it already just in case.

Works now but still it got me very angry because I just lost 1 laurel point because of it and all I needed is 1 more minute for that 1 laurel which it won’t come back……so…..yea
