Okay so stepping away from sPVP and going into WvWvW. How would the build be like for a condition elementalist? I took a look at the meta battle site and D/D Roaming is in the test build with specialization into Air/Water or earth/Arcane.

@Wolfric I like the build that you came up with but switching the focus to that of the dagger would be useful. As well as using Mist form since you can take down the enemy without being interrupted. As you Lightning flash, I still see it as essential but RTL would work as the main escape for the class so I could change that to the signet of fire.

Since the build does not have anything to deal with condi or regen, would it be wise to take out Arcane for water in the specialization?

Okay Wolfric, I’ll change the water trait that of the earth trait instead.

If not going for full Celestial, then would you prefer that it goes Carrion instead with the Carrion Amulet?

Since the new system has been in place for a while, I thought it would be a great idea to make a built. This built is somewhat similar to the built that I have put up before the mastery/traits are changed. I’m trying to make a Condition Elementalist.

So, Basically there’s nothing wrong with this build and can be used in a sPvP match even with the slight changes to the original meta build? The traits for the build is acceptable as well as the utility skills?

Okay, so I edited the build a little more based on the suggestions that has been given to me so far.

Traits: I kept it at 2/0/0/6/6 but I can change it to 4/0/0/4/6 instead to get Ember’s Might for burn to last longer

Fire:
IV: Spell Slinger or could be swapped for III. Ember’s Might

Water:
III. Cantrip Mastery
IX. Soothing Disruption
X. Cleansing Wave

Arcane:
II. Renewing Stamina or could be swapped out for VI. Windborne Dagger(maybe)
VIII. Elemental Attunement
XI. Evasive Arcana

As for the Sigils not being chosen, it was because I was uncertain which ones to pick or would benefit my build.

The reason in which I chose to have the glyph instead of the signet was because of the bonus to gaining a boon when used. As for the three utility skills, Cleansing fire for me was a no-brainier since it cures three conditions and applies burn on nearby enemies. Lightning Flash is there for easy escape in dangerous situations or for chasing with this coupled in with ride the lightning. Mist form over Armored of Earth is for when I need to take down people without being interrupted.

Well, what do you guys think of the built? Thanks again to Witcher, Tei and Amaranthined for providing helpful insights and helping me out.

Btw, what king of armor and sigils would you guys suggest to have?

I just recently made a d/d elementalist on the build editor for this game and was wondering what you, experts, have to say about it. This is an Opinion topic since I am new to this game. Thanks for the input from the community.

What kind of things do you think I should change? What would be better?

Btw, i was thinking of make this build more of a condition d/d ele instead and slightly different from the meta builds that people are using these days.
