Ah, sorry about that, my last reply was referring to my screenshot seeing as you quoted me on that. Just to be clear, the two incidents didn’t happen on the same run.

Yes, I understand that but as I said I didn’t leave and that’s what is leading me to believe that what happened there was a bug.
I see, one of my friends also mentioned the reason for dying is because of exploits. But I still believe that what I faced was a bug: Looking at the chat log you can see that I didn’t reconnect.
Yeah, I saw that you could die joining mid way as it happened to a friend a few times so I assumed that may of been intentional for whatever reason and accepted that as the result of not joining from the beginning. But that doesn’t explain my instant death when loading into Jade Maw =/.
Sadly I don’t know the answer to either of the questions but if that is what is happening then I would think that is a bug.
Lately most of the times I’ve entered either I spawned dead: Two most recent being when I entered the fractal lobby again after leaving to re-trait and when my group reached the Jade Maw I was the only one to spawn dead. It isn’t something I’m raging about, yet, but it is rather annoying having it happen so frequently now.
I dislike the RNG-gating for cosmetic skins too, but I could accept it if the skins were tradable on the TP. I’ve gotten 3 Crates so far just from wandering around killing mobs on Southsun. If I had gotten a ticket from one, I wouldn’t know what to do with it, since I don’t like any of the Sclerite skins. What would be the point of me holding onto it then? Surely it would make more sense for me to be able to sell it and make someone in this thread very happy?
I have to agree with this. On this occasion the RNG god looked my way, twice. I got my first ticket from my second box and the other within 15 more crates, which was my most recent. However the RNG god has a butter face and I just have to get the tickets when I hate the skins…
They have made a step forward in making these crates a rare drop to allow people who don’t want/can’t spend a lot of money on them to have a chance at getting something and I hope they continue this trend (Mainly cause all my crates were drops). But I don’t think it is too much to ask of ANet to make them tradable or perhaps make it so if someone doesn’t get a ticket after so many purchased chests then the next will guarantee one.
No, there is no need: I finished my monthly yesterday and didn’t get any laurels for it. So I’m guessing no one has gotten any from finishing this monthly.

Right… yes, I’m fully aware that balancing the new skills will happen and will take a while, I’m not expecting super-OP-nerf-Irelia kind of stuff (sorry, I had to xD) but more powerful than normal skills.
And to be honest, I’m not even level 80 yet and I doubt that I may even get a legendary weapon but I don’t care.

True, but just FYI I’m not wanting to show off fancy new skills for people to marvel at.
But it seems people who do have legendaries want more out of them.
Slightly more on topic – I suppose a balance could be that in something like tournaments only a certain amount of players are allowed to “activate” their legendary item. Also I’m thinking about making up some skills and do a little bit of balancing, no promises because I’m rather lazy ^^".

I was planning to make a thread for my suggestion but it looks like you have beaten me to it.
From what I know – which is not a lot – it seems that legendary items are hard to obtain, and so they should be, but I’ve seen a thread about getting them isn’t all too worthwhile or something.
Okay, back to my suggestion. I think it would be cool if legendary items have a whole different set of skills to them. Think of it like conjured items – you pick it up and oh look you have some different skills to play with. How my idea works is that when you have a legendary equipped it would add an extra F key – I suppose rangers might get annoyed with so many ^^" – and pressing said F key you will “call upon the legendaryness” of the weapon, or whatever fancy word/phrase you want to use, and your 1-5 skills will be replaced with new ones, of course just temporarily or until you press that key again to revert back to your normal skills and when either occurs the cool-down timer would start.

Maybe to catch something you would have to go through a quick time event.
Also fish caught could also be collectibles (Yeah… I’m quite the klepto ^^“).
