The ability to exclude players from content is a big problem in most MMOs. Players being able to kick someone for no reason just shouldn’t happen – player should never have been able to have joined that party in the first place. The game should allow everyone to play everything – if a player is under geared then the game should match the player with other similarly geared players and scale the dungeon appropriately. Of course this would have to be a design change and not a quick fix. In the case of the OP being kicked – I would suggest that the game only allow kicking if the player is not performing at or above some minimum requirement for the particular dungeon and not because they aren’t moving fast enough for the tank. That’s my 2 cents. Keep the change.

What are “fractals” in Guild Wars 2?
Do all classes have 15*4 combinations of spells depending on weapon/attunement? (my only experience with GW2 is elementalist)

I gave it a try in PVE areas, and I find it very difficult to use. 4 out of 5 skills are AoE and I can’t get them out fast enough before I die. I’m wondering if it is a dungeon-only attunement or at the very least you must have a tank in order to use it. Is that a correct assessment?

I’m not sure I understand what backpack straps are or how to use them? What are they?

I don’t just dodge (actually I have yet to use that mechanic). I strafe left or right while my auto attack is on. In fact the only times I have died is when I stopped moving.

This happened to me the other day – Boots wouldn’t change color. I tried erasing the colors but that didn’t work either. So, I left it alone for a few hours. later, I tried erasing the colors again and this time it worked. Then I applied new colors and it worked. My guess is that there was some kind of server glitch that prevented the colors form being saved and that it cleared up by itself after a few hours.

I bought the “heroic” edition yesterday. I’m a little confused about the chest of armor. Is the Profane armour the armour I am supposed to use? Should I assume the stats on it of what I’ll need for an Elementalist? Or should I be looking for new armor with better stats?

Are dyes always free? Or just the first time? I just started playing, and the Free armour I got with the digital download looks horrendous in the color I chose at character creation time. I want to sort of “plug and play” but I’m afraid I’ll be stuck having to pay for more dye changes later. I am a new player and it isn’t obvious if dyes are always free or not.
