Well in gw1 you needed at least 2 monks, so without monks 5 is a pretty good fit for groups. That being said, I do think that would be an awesome thing to add to the game. It would help add to the end game content, make it super hard as it should be. Unfortunately I don’t think they will do it, as much as I loved UW and FoW, it doesn’t fit the lore. The god’s left Tyria and UW/FoW were the domains of Grenth and Balthazaar
stun breakers and condition removal are very useful if you’re trying to get away. Personally i use a focus so i can speed myself up and cripple anyone else who follows through, blink is very useful and breaks stuns but you need to know when to use it, using blink at the wrong times can get you killed. decoy is also very good, distracts alot of people, and is also a stun breaker. if you have both you can use decoy to distract them with your clone, turn invisible, and blink away.
Sometimes there’s just too many of them, you can get a way from a couple, but another one comes up on you. try to recognize fights you cant win and dont get too close.
you can control how many people will appear on screen, dumb it down to nameplates and it’ll run like it used to, but you’ll still be able to attack everything. Won’t show everybody, but it didn’t used to. If you want to run nice graphics and see everything and everybody, you need better specs on your computer, like in any game
You can’t penalize people for being in a larger group, its counter to the design philosophy. You also can’t outright give smaller groups bonuses to be stronger against a larger force; its simply unfair. If i have 20 people and you have 5, you should not beat us unless you are godly.
However, I do think a nice subtle way to help promote small groups without bashing on zergs would be to make groups of a certain size (maybe 30?) visible on the map to opponents. When too many people congregate in the area, the enemy would be able to see the large groups and either rally against them or easily avoid them, and would promote the smaller groups which could move around somewhat undetected. At the same time, this wouldn’t be taking any raw power away from the larger armies. Just an idea, what do you think?

Fairly regularly, the game will just randomly freeze and stop responding, or close and say there was an error and ask me if I want to report it to Arena.net, but I can’t figure out why. I’ve reinstalled multiple times, and I thought I wouldnt have this issue anymore since yesterday I completely reinstalled windows and all my drivers, and guild wars of course, and its crashed twice already this morning. It is making me not want to play. Any help?
Using a i5 3570k 3.4ghz
8gb corsair RAM
dual nvidia GTX 560 Ti in SLI mode
so clearly its not a matter of my computer not being good enough
