The Potato Challenge is a set of rules and restrictions you can decide to play with in order to make your Guild Wars 2 experience much more interesting!

Though it was initially imagined by WoodenPotatoes, I decided to make a small website to make following these rules easier!

With this site you can:

• Choose between Recap, List and Walkthrough mode, to make the rules easier to read or display more details.
• Activate/deactivate rules (while in Walkthrough mode).
• Save your set-up by copying/bookmarking the link (changes are applied directly to the url as you make them).
• Send your set-up’s url to friends!

> What to Expect <

Think of this as rediscovering the leveling experience of Guild Wars 2. If you haven’t spent time actually leveling a character in some time or are bored of always wandering the same maps and doing the same events, then you’ll want to try this.

The challenge can include perma-death, no map, no dodging, waypoint restrictions…

The biggest differences you’ll soon find while playing this challenge are getting lost in Tyria, seeing much more of the world and all it has to offer, actually having to fight for survival on many enemies and looking forward to being able to use almost any piece of loot you find, even green stuff!

The Potato Challenge was created by Wooden potatoes, and all the rules and systems described here and at alpha-gamma.fr/PotatoChallenge are to be attributed to him. I have only compiled these rules and created the web page to display them. So basically, go check out his stuff, it’s great!

Hello.

I have been using a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse since launch and have my buttons mapped this way :
Mbutton4 > $ > Heal(6)
Mbutton5 > : > Skill (7)
MWheelRight > ù > Nearest Target
MWheel Left > = > Next Target

Unfortunately, recently something has glitched, and nothing seems to allow me to use these extra buttons.
I have tried adding Logitech support for Coherent UI, ImmersiveCombatMode AND/OR GW2.exe to nbo avail. I recently tried using AutoHotkey to set up replacement settings, but GW2 was the ONLY program not to recognise the changes.

I usually use SweetFX and ICM, but disabling them both (and actually taking them out of the folder) changes nothing.

My Guess ?
I installed/removed GEMFX, but I cleaned it up entirely, so it shouldn’t be a problem. So I guess it might be linked to SetPoint (Logitech) or recent changes to the game client.
If anyone has an idea… this is kind of ruining the game for me…

PS : None of the tests I made in AutoHotkey went against the game’s policy : I had simple “one key = another” replacements.
