Might just be me, but did Anet just change the description of rewards from the black lion chests.

1 small change and you cant stack them anymore. Used to say Account Bound on Acquire. Now it says Account Bound. Kind of ridiculous as you cant stack the 2 different types. Don’t know if its a bug or what it is. But it is definitely annoying. It’s boosters, bank express, TP express and probably most of the other rewards.

Hopefully this changes again, so they can all be stacked.

So i was having a bright moment earlier today and started thinking:

" Wouldn’t it be cool if instead of using a shield, we like the look of, in the normal way there was an option to —--> turn it into a backpiece.

Shields are probably 1 of the weapons hardly used by most professions. On the other side a lot of the shields have some pretty awesome skins, but is that nice skin worth loosing ur 2 handed weapon?? No it’s not.

I was thinking it would be awesome if we could be able to choose on USAGE, to either use the shield as a shield or as a backpiece.

Now the big question is:

Are there any other people that think this would be a good idea to eventually get implemented by AN? Let’s get the discussion under way and here the Pros/Cons.

I just dont see how people say, that its 1/3 of the price. 800 gems is about 60 gold, that means T3 is 180g.

I skinned my sentinels armor because i really liked this skin, so does that mean everyone with T3 should pay the same as i had to pay for my sentinels set, cause thats what i see mostly. People being mad because they paid more then the people that bought this skin. Last thing i saw Sentinels was about 99g up to 180g a piece x 6 = at least 600 gold, i dont think T3 is that expensive.

People that bought the skin before it being pulled should have a CHOICE. If you wanna keep it, keep it. If you don’t then you get the new skin. It would save a lot of the problems created due to this. Anet wouldnt have to give refunds or check what stats/equipment people skinned. They would have 1 or the other.

There will always be people that nag about something.

@MisterEction —→ i doubt that will happen cause to take an example the other 2 sets look horrible.

ANet has their job cut out for them.

1 Get a new skin that satisfies everyone that bought the skin.

2 If people don’t like it they have even more work:
– Give people their gems back, if it was gifted, they will have to find out who the person was who gifted the set to give them their gems back.
– Give the people that dont want the new skin their old skins back.

Seems a lot of work just to satisfy a group of complainers.

If your jealous of someone’s armor don’t whine on the forums buy it yourself. I love the armor for my human ele, most likely i wont like the new design, as i absolutely hate the look of the other 2 flame sets that are out now and i think a lot of people agree with me.

Anet will be refunding quite a lot of Gems, not to mention the hassle if someone gifted the set to someone, cause in my opinion the 1 that gifted the gems should be the one to get the gems back.

Overall a lot of work to please a few jealous people.

Not to mention i reskinned my sentinels armor, so they will have to make sure i get that back aswell.

So i want to Transmute my Ascended Staff, thing is if i put them in the window i don’t see the infusion slots.

So will i still have my infusion slots on transmuting or will i loose them.
Just wondering.

At the moment i have mixed feelings about everything Anet has done recently.

As you guys say drop rates have gone down. So the question becomes is it still profitable to farm??? Guess not.

Ascended Trinkets have become readily available, so why still craft your own Exotic Trinkets, when its “free” to get better ones ?? So why have Jewelcrafting when u cant make Ascended trinkets or something thats equal to the ascended trinkets

They open a post saying Choose your own Daillies and choose how u want to be rewarded. Okay we can “choose” our daillies but only from 7 options given to us, so is it really OUR choice? NO. Can we choose what rewards we get in return No, its more karma and mystic coins every night.

Then another thing that really annoys me:

The prices of Gems, if u turn gold in to gems. Have u looked at the prices lately. Let me give you an example of what in my mind is RIDICULOUS:

1 Repair Cannister is 70 gems which at this moment means u have to pay 1 Gold, 50 Silver to get 1 repair cannister. Now even if u have Exotic gear totally broken, i have never seen repair bills ABOVE 1 gold. So the price of gems is way to high for the advantage its given. Another example is the Dye Pack. You can get 10 dyes free every 5 days (5 laurels). Or buy 1 Dye pack with 7 dyes in it for 200 Gems (over 4 gold) 7 dyes in the trading post are 18 silver each x 7 = 1g 26 silver. True you wont know if u get 2 uncommon or rare dyes, but is that chance really worth 3 extra gold????

I think Anet had no idea the price of Gems would go so far out of proportion. And thats the whole issue, it seems like Anet thinks of something and it sounds like a good plan so do it. Not thinking about the consequences to all the other things that it affects in the game.

I for 1 stopped playing as much as i did with all the dissapointments lately.

Hopefully the tides can be turned.

The 1 thing i was hoping for to be implemented and Anet mentioned this in their release notes, for the patch of Feb 26 2013, was CHOOSING your reward. The problem with it, ITS not there. I cant choose my reward from the dailies OR monthly.

I dont give a rats behind what dailies i have to do, as long as i get a chance to choose what i want to be rewarded with, but i guess thats too much to ask.

Also on a side note with having the Ascended gear available for everyone through laurels JEWELCRAFTING became USELESS.

I was hoping to see u on earlier when i checked in the game (added you so i can talk to you if we are online at the same time).

I am part of [DBD] Dead by Dawn from the Sactum of Rall server. We are a close knit group. The creators of the guild in GW2 have been playing with eachother for quite a while. We are looking to expand our numbers to get the Activity up to where we can do anything we want on a daily basis.

[DBD]:

- Mature
- Mumble
- All areas of the game are covered.
- No rules on activity/ what to do.
- Activity 3-10 players on a daily basis from 7pm – 1am EST.

As forementioned we are still looking to grow a bit bigger, just to get a solid group to cover the things our members feel like doing.

Todays daily bump

Last couple of days i visited Jormag 3 times. 3 times i had to Restart GW because i get an ear numbing BEEP in my ear when he is about 75% Done. I dont know if it is a known issue but its pretty annoying.

Ok so i have an issue:

Had to wipe my computer due to some issues. Now i want to reinstall GW2 and it acts up. I am able to get the GW2Setup.exe on my pc, but after that it wont start or generate any updates. It doesnt do anything.

I played since the beta testing started without any issues.

Can anyone help me out ???
