Guild Wars 2

April, week 1:
With the release of Wxp, there was a clear change in WvW for KN. Wxp increased WvW numbers on all servers, but KN did not receive the same numbers as TC and FA did. On top of that TC had guilds transfer in.

I don’t know about every timezone, but in NA time zone you could really feel it. For the first week we doubled down our efforts and hung on. Still, we could only bring competitive numbers to EB and maybe one other map.

April, week 2:
About the second week WM just seemed to disappear. Someone said they cut their hours. I don’t know…

April, week 3:
About the third week, we could only cover EB and leave the other maps to flounder.

Now, I was on sunday, and trying to hold out in EB when we lost one more tower to a TC mega-zerg. I finally look at the score for the first time and see we hold 55 points. My thought? “Well this is pointless.”

T2 used to be a close matchup, but because of transfers, it’s suddenly imbalanced.

I’m disgusted with the whole thing, and people just want to be nice and say nice things about WM and CO, but really it’s a rotten thing they have done if they leave now. First they transferred to KN causing imbalance, and now transfer out causing more imbalance. Being suddenly outnumbered is no fun for any server, and I don’t wish it on any server, and when you allow these mass transfers it ruins the fun by causing a sudden imbalance on the server you left and the server you went to. Servers should go up in tier based on their skill improving, not based on transfers.

My care for WvW is down to zero this week. I can’t wait to drop to T3 where hopefully there’s some kind of even playing field numbers-wise, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
