Hey guys, so I am fairly new to running Fractals. I have been running them the past few days non-stop and now I am at Personal Level 9. Can somebody please explain to me how the agony resistance works? I understand that I am going to need some form of ring or trinket to infuse my agony resistance with, but how do I require these items? Is there an easier way to get these items than spending 10 pristine fractals per item? Please help

Erriaa, it seems as if you are having the exact problems that I was having a few weeks ago. After just purchasing the game I found that it would only run like 1/25 tries and when it didn’t it would just take me back to my desktop. After running through all of the repair steps with no progress, I found that I was actually running OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). It worked occasionally, but for the game to work consecutively I had to update to 10.8.4 (Mountain Lion). This may be the issue you are facing as well. Hope this helped

Yep I tried all of the steps. I decided that my Mac needed an upgrade anyways so I purchased Mountain Lion earlier today. Everything should be up to date

I got on yesterday and for some reason it worked fine without me doing anything. After a few hours of playing I was disconnected and the same problem happened again with getting kicked off. I deleted the folder, repaired the client, updated my drivers, and reset the PRAM and SMC. After all of this it still did not work consecutively. Although after around 10 attempts, the game did launch. Obviously it works on my computer, I just want to be able to hit the Play button and it work every time. Could the fact that I use Snow Leopard (latest version) change anything?

Also sometimes I will get a popup with an Exception c000005 or something like that

Hey guys, I just bought this game yesterday and downloaded it over night. When i logged on this morning the download was complete and I was able to log on and create a character and begin playing. Later on in the day I attempted to startup the game again only to find that after i clicked on the “Play” button my screen would go black (as if the game were about to start up). All I could see was my cursor (no music or anything). I find it odd that it worked only an hour before hand, but after many tries it just crashes and sends me back to my desktop after around 10 seconds of a black screen. I have read what others have suggested such as deleting the folder from the App Support and adding in “-repair” in the command box. In the end none of that has worked. Please Help!
