Capture points is a horrible daily objective

Rewarding glory only on a win would be idiotic and would cause people to stop playing and go AFK the instant the other team gets a good lead. That, and it would turn PvP tourneys into an incredibly hostile environment where people mostly insult each other for their lack of skills.

To fix the dailies just remove the capture requirement, change daily tournament wins to daily tournament plays and add a requirement that involves getting X amount of glory. It’s not perfect but it makes more sense than the current format.

You turned PvP dailys into a chore.

The people saying “you should be playing for fun anyway so it’s fine if the daily takes longer” are totally missing the point. The daily requirements are promoting bad play. It’s promoting going to a cap that’s already being capped by a teammate with no enemy nearby so they can get their 10 caps. It’s promoting doing hotjoin and just zerging to every point because doing anything else will make your daily take twice as long. And if you’re a tournament player it sucks to be you, because when you play 4 games and lose all 4, you have the choice between doing hotjoins instead and playing 3 more maps, or praying that in your next pvp games you’re put in a team that already completed their dailies so you won’t end up with 4 people capping your home point because they’re desperate for their 10 caps.

If you have a limited amount of free time, the dailies are basically giving you a choice between playing to have fun or playing to get dailies, when instead it should be giving you an incentive to play and have fun.

I’m fine with the dailies taking longer, I just want them to take into account the different playstyles. I would replace tournament wins by tournament games played and replace kills/caps by points earned. Like holy kitten, don’t you guys see something wrong with asking for 10 caps when there’s a map in tournament rotation that literally allows you to sit on a trebuchet all game while still allowing you to be a big asset for your team? You make all these maps with different mechanics and then you show us that if we want a reward at the end of the day we should just ignore those.
