Protean boots (Asuran Cultural armor tier 2) cause Engineer backpacks to appear sideways.
Edit: This also affects visible spine armor like the guild backpack and mad memories books.

It’s actually the whole set, not just the boots that seem to cause this bug. I took the whole set off and my backpack looked fine. I then added each piece separately just to make sure, and sure enough, each one makes it go wonky. This is highly disappointing as I always have a kit equipped. I really like the look of the armor, but this backpack bug is well…bugging me :P If you want screenshots each step of the process let me know, I have them.
