I’d actually craft Eternity if it looked like this. I love the color scheme and it still maintains aspects of day and night but it’s into one persistent blade rather than alternating. I dig it.

It’s perfectly fine to state your opinion and to ask for support if others feel the same way Arc. You’re allowed to have and state your opinion just as Hanako is allowed to have and state his/hers. You can’t state that others are allowed to have dissenting opinions, and voice said opinions, without recognizing that Arc’s allowed to have his and ask for backing if they agree with him too. Can’t have it one way and not the other.

Of course some people are going to like Eternity as is. And some aren’t. That’s obvious. OP’s allowed to dislike it’s current state and suggest changes based on his belief. Isn’t that what this forum is about? One man (or woman) stating his opinion and others backing it or disagreeing with it based on their own opinions. Your opinion on whether it looks “good” or “bad” at night is entirely subjective, just as his is, and warrants no more value than any other stated opinion – including the OPs. Recognize that neither of you (nor myself or anyone else) are “right.” It’s just opinion. Condescending remarks by either side make you look silly and immature.

Asking for a rework of a weapon you deem to need it is perfectly fine. Are you telling me it’s not okay for owners of The Minstrel to ask for changes “AFTER” they make it? Of course people are going to still have opinions of skins/effects before AND after they make said item. Asking for a rework of Eternity doesn’t mean that other weapons couldn’t still get attention and a rework as well. It’s not like it’s strictly one or the other. (I think Eternity’s changes are substandard and are inadequate. Just as I feel other Legendaries, Minstrel especially, are still lackluster.)

I too game on the Lenovo Y580 and I thoroughly recommend it. They range anywhere from $800-$1,100 depending. I wanted something nice that could be used for years and not feel like it was immediately outdated. It serves that purposes for me. Check em out online for specs at newegg or wherever you prefer.

found this helpful. Although, the soldier items aren’t adding the power component from what i can tell. i like it tho. I just wish i knew what it translated to at Lvl 80.

Will be leading it again tonight @ same time, 5p PST/8p EST. Yesterday surprised me with how the first half of his hp went so slow, second half ramped up hard. The time before that I had tried to announce the acolytes, but couldnt due to chat suppression. Unluckil, several spawned right next to him & he nomnomed one else it would have succeeded then.

oh well. be there tonight if you can.

1) rez the downed only
2) run back ASAP if you die
3) ignore the champion
4) burn those vet acolytes mobs immediately when they spawn
5) ranged weapons can help keep you from dying to stomping attk & make seeing the red circles of death easier.

I haven’t been able to due to college but I was hoping some momentum would carry over. I will be leading it as often as I can & hopefully Crimsonrellik (Stargate/Psychic Failure) can too, though that’s up to him/her. After this week’s end and especially Nov’s end, I’ll be on with near certainty.

Until then, feel free to get people together and I’ll be there as much as possible.

yeah, i know it scales (and won’t spawn champion etc) but I’ve had successes with more people myself. Been successful two nights running and hopefully they will tonight too (i can’t be there tonight). thanks for the insight/reminder. Perhaps when future attempts have few people, they’ll remember it’s still quite possible.

Thanks for sharing. It is the attention to detail the developers have/had and work into the game that I love. Adds another layer of depth to the experience and enables you to feel important and engrossed.

today was a bust, but we did get it yesterday. On a good note: both times today were close. just gotta get people up from dying and push that dps

Aye, I’m hoping it will too. We went at it twice today and nearly got it done both times.

I believe our biggest area to improve on to be handling player death. It happens to all of us… but laying there dead hoping someone can take their time to slowly rez you in combat is silly. Go to Sentry, Rally or whatever the nearest waypoint is and run back. It only takes a moment and ensures both of you can resume dps-ing.

I have notified LA prior to the event as a reminder & will continue too. Hopefully people tell their friends & guild to come get loot & part-take in the events as a community. I’d like a proud, friendly, and teammwork-oriented Gate of Madness.

Hi everyone,

Myself, Ted B, Stargate and others have agreed to get players on Gate of Madness server on a reliable schedule for Temple of Balthazar event. Several of us in map chat have organized a daily push at the event chain at 5pm PST/8pm EST.

We figure that this time will be accommodating to those working the day shift and/or attending school/college. Because it’s the time that dailies roll over, it’ll help meet those dailies quickly and it will also serve as a mnemonic tool to remember when it is.

Whether you’re lookin’ to open a big ol’ chest full of gear, you’re after a fair amount of xp/karma/silver (many mobs in quest chain to loot from too), or you’re lookin’ to purchase the Obsidian Shard for your epic Legendary weapon – we could use your help!

I’m hoping we can pull together as a server and show some community pride & unification.
