Not that the times are “Pacific Time”. I am in CENTRAL Time. That means the last test is 5:30pm to 730pm
I think you’re adjusting the wrong way. 7:30pm Pacific is 9:30pm Central.
kitten . Not what I wanted to hear but I’ll take a little graphics downgrade over all these crashes.
Guess I’ll experiment with lowering stuff until they stop.
Am I the only one this is happening to?
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I’ve scanned my hard drive for errors as well, and it comes up fine.

Been getting constant crashes for a few months now, ever since I built a new PC. My new rig is plenty beefy enough to run the game without a hitch, but it crashes most often during big events with zergs (world bosses, WvW, etc) which is really killing my options for things to do in-game. Also happens occasionally when I switch maps.
I can get usually get through a boss if it’s a short encounter, like Flame or Maw, but Teq or The Breach or anything like that I’ll have multiple crashes and usually end up missing the chest or reconnecting into a different map and missing the event altogether.
*I’ve submitted dozens of reports.
*My drivers are up to date.
*I’ve tried the -repair command line option.
*I’ve reinstalled the game.
Nothing works. I’m at a loss. My only hope at the moment is waiting for Windows 10 to release and start over with a freshly wiped hard drive. Any insight in the meantime would be most appreciated.

I’m pretty new to PvP. Done a bit of reading. Played about a dozen hotjoins yesterday, which was kinda fun but also crazy and unbalanced most of the time. Hoping to get some advice on where to go from here.
My gf and I are looking to team up in PvP for a change of pace from PvE and to do some of the reward tracks. Not looking to climb the ranks or get pro tier, but hey, winning is fun so that’d be nice.
Some Q’s:
- Is Unranked relatively laid back and friendly to (earnest) beginners or are we better off in hotjoins? (if you can even team up in hotjoins?)
- Generally speaking, should we stick together or split up to cover more ground? We’ll be in the same room, so we’ll be able to communicate easily.
- We’ll probably grab some builds off of meta battle but what classes work well together?
- I’ve read you shouldn’t just fight people or just camp on nodes but do a “rotation” that “depends on various things”. Can someone elaborate a bit or is this something that just requires a lot of experience?
Any other advice for our situation would be welcome!
