Hi everyone
As title says, we are currently trying to build a new team for tpvp. Goal is a static team, with matches on a more or less daily base in the evening.
What we have:
Suprsaiya: r20+, spirit or power ranger
Drycee: r40+, shatter mesmer, familiar with other meta-builds. Alt: bunker guard.
Skaronnn: r20+, support/bunker or dps guard
What we’re looking for:
We arent searching for a strict class yet, but i’ll update the part above so you can see yourself if you would fit in. Most importantly we want calm, mature people, who have the hang of pvp in general and are willing to improve together with us.
Some basic understanding of gw2 pvp is mandatory we dont wanna start at 0, so i’ll say r20+.
Speak/write/understand english good enough for game-related communication.
Have a mic and use it.
We dont want elitists, we dont want ragequitters, or annoying people in general ^^
Just some relaxed people, who try everything to win, but dont moan if we lose.
If you think you’d fit in or just want to get us to know a little more, message me ingame or leave a message here.
See ya ingame hopefully,
Drycee

I think the real problem with mesmers lies in their whole confusion mechanic. (not the condition but the “who’s the real mesmer”-thing). Anet has made it pretty clear that they want gw2 to appeal to casuals. which isnt a bad thing in general. You can balance numbers and skills. But the thing with mesmer is, against a new player they are inredibly strong because they have no clue what to attack with all the clones and stealth. it frustrates them. Against good or experienced players, clones arent really a distraction. maybe they give you half a second more time before your enemy has targeted you again. Now if you would make mesmer stronger to make them more viable in high tier pvp, doesnt even matter in which way, the effect against casual players would be 1000x stronger. frustrating them even more. and i dont think thats what anet wants.
Balancing mesmer how he currently functions isnt possible in my opinion. They would have to revamp the whole class. To make them more like a lockdown-class like he used to be in gw1, they would have to get rid of clones totally. And im sure thats not gonna happen. So they just make some minor tweaks, mostly nerfs, but for me it looks like they dont even know in which direction to go.
TL;DR. Mesmer will never be balanced because the whole class mechanic is too strong against bad/unexperienced players, but weak against better players.

Hi everyone
We’re forming a new static tpvp team and are looking for 1 more. We dont really know each other, so its all new and everyone’s in the same position. You won’t be “the new guy” ^^
We’re currently just gathering people, havent done definite role distribution yet. But it looks like we need a roamer. Probably thief.
We dont care about your rank or experience, but we care about if youre willing to learn and get better. Of course a basic understanding of pvp should exist.
So if you’re interested or having questions, whisper me ingame (Drycee) or leave a message here
