Tl;dr no

Why should it be a boon, that makes no sense. But agreed they are different skills.

Regardless necro have way to much access to chill. With the amount of conditions Necros can already apply… their chill needs to be toned down significantly.

If it’s a boon then it can be flipped or removed, bringing it that much closer to chill.

I believe Alacrity reduces ur CD at 40% before nerf, and Chill increases ur CD by 40%. If you have both of them on at the same time, they cancel each other.

@Duke idk if you ever have like 10s or 15s of Chill on you, but it’s really fun.

I know it’s a blast, but even if it was 60s of chill, it can be removed with a single condi removal.

This is an abokittenely disgusting class with a survivability far beyond a normal class’s Soldier Amulet survivability would be. The boon uptime and passive healing are way over the top.

Here’s what it takes to kill a marauder engi in 1v1 by a class that would die in 5 seconds when connected onto. This is absolutely disgusting and there isn’t any engineer nerfs (especially pasives) on the horizon from what it seems from Guild Chat balance preview. A survivability level like this should be only achieveable when picking a celestial amulet. This is not a fair deisgn towards other Marauder users.

As a Marauder engi, tanking is pretty simple, but there isn’t a lot of killing power. My last match I was fighting a 3v1 at mid while the team attacked far and home and while I could run around the outside of the circle and heal when needed, I couldn’t kill the guard, ele or ranger there. It was just a stalemate until I slipped up and accidentally popped a heal before I needed it. It’s just a balance. The marauder power is trying to make up for all the dps losses from the traits.

TL;DR tanked 3v1 for a couple minutes so I understand that it is a little too survivable for marauder, but I can’t kill things in a reasonable amount of time.

HoT expansion without the core game?

Hi, I am just wondering if there is a way to get just the Heart of Thorns expansion without it being bundled with the core game than I have already purchased. I really wanna check it out, but don’t wanna pay $50 for an expansion that includes content I have already purchased. This is why I didn’t pre-order the expansion, but I was just curious as if they made a way to buy just the expansion alone.

what your saying is that you want to play the latest expansion for free (the one the devs just spent x millions on and are building a return on it) no game is going to survive do that.

I would do what you do with any other game, research using videos and unbiased reviews, or wait for discount offers.
