So I switched my bind to F8, just so it was a different key and in an unusual location (so I’d be more aware if i was reaching to hit it and cancel early).
I saw no change. Doesn’t seem to matter which pet I have out. #3 skill seems to be most likely the skill I would attempt to be spamming, but I’ve had it pop out of CA before i hit a single skill
ArenaNet has always been really awesome when it comes to bug fixing. What people need to keep in mind, though, is that sometimes it can take a while to track down the precise line (or lines) of coding that are messing things up. From a programmer’s perspective, I can tell you that sometimes it can be extremely frustrating and it isn’t always a super-fast fix. So please have a little faith in them, and a little patience, they do a wonderful job. It just might not be an immediate fix as much as we hope it will be. They are constantly reading these boards, as they’ve said in the past, though they can’t always respond to every single post. That’s a lot of work!!! So I’m confident that they hear you and will get things resolved as soon as they can.
I get all that. But even a dev swinging by and posting “got it, we’ll add it to the list” would help.
As for testing… for several hours I thought I was just hitting something wrong (which is odd, because I hadn’t had the problems until the patch). I’ve tried clicking the icon and pressing F5… sometimes the swap to CA actions happens, sometimes, it doesn’t. I rarely get the full 15 seconds. I can’t find any correlation on other abilities that I (or others around me) are using that might break it.
I’ll have to try rebinding the action to another key and see if that makes any difference…

It seems that my problem is a little different than I first understood. The specific tab I was trying to interact with (the first tab) is set to officers only. Whoops. It appears that I can interact with the other tabs just fine on all characters on the account. I was just reading the popup that said I had to be in the guild 3 days….
However, when I was doing some testing of the two guilds, I noticed that I always port into the guild hall for FIRE, even when I’m repping my other guilds…. at least that’s what the popup says when I first load in. When I rep LoE and go to the vendors, I get the “My services are only available to members of the guild that owns this guild hall.” message. I made sure that I switched my guild rep while I was in Lion’s Arch instead of inside the guild hall. So I have influence that I can’t spend, and whatever other things are impacted by that…
I’m trying to deposit items into my guild bank in the guild hall. Some characters I can add/remove items while other characters cannot. The characters that cannot deposit items say that I need to be in the guild for at least 3 days, even though I’ve been in the guild for many months. The same characters are consistently locked out. I’ve tried rep’ing another guild and then switching back, but the problem persists. I can access vendors in the guild hall. Not sure what other information would be useful.

nevermind. logging out and back in fixed the problem and advanced my storyline.
When I advanced my personal story on from The Battle of Claw Island to Killing Fields, I read the mail and deleted it, then noticed that my personal story did not advance. How do I advance my story now?
