What’s your basis … other than to be contrary.

I say this was made to stop a thief from being able to harass through repeated use of c&d.

Which is ok. But 30 seconds??? That’s insane.

My basis is the fact that thieves believe they own copyrights on anything related to stealth. I just throw some cold water in their faces and tell them to wake up.

Remember that this trap requires supply and 4s to be placed. So it’s not something you drop at your feet on a whim just because a thief starts to c&d all over the place.

Trust me, I don’t need traps to deal with thieves.

So to me this change simply serves as a deterrent against the zerg mentality where everyone just blindly rushes into a keep with Mesmer’s slamming down Veil in front.

So the main purpose is to stop Veil and sacrifice the Thief.
Show some respect to thieves, stealth is our main mechanic.
Staying behind you and not getting attention is what we do.
And ofcourse, we know the enemy will not place the trap while fighting with us, yet, with the cheap cost of them, I won’t be amazed if they are everywhere.
Even they are not EVERYWHERE, simply place them in camp is enough to kill us, with the 30SECS REVEALED.

I took a look of the products you’ve mentioned and was happy to know the price of CPU + mobo is surprisingly cheap.

However, I am not living in USA and Microcenter offers In-stock pickup only.

This is sad because
FX 8320 = HKD$1500
M5A99X Pro R2.0 = HKD$1370
Evo 212 = HKD$240
Total = HKD$3110 = ~USD$400
Which is $125 more than Microcenter’s offer

Anyone knows how many FPS do i get if the 8350 @ 4.2Ghz in WVW?

For mobo, I am using Gigabyte 880GMA-USB3, which support AM3+.
I’ve been searching for the performance when this mobo comes to OC, but I can’t find any.
Is it good for that?

Considering future upgrades for my rig, I agree that having a higher Wattage PSU is a good choice, thanks for the opinions :-)

For budget, actually I expect ~$350 is including the FX8350, PSU & Cooler.
If I want to get both 650W’s PSU and Antec 620, it should be enough.

from Phenom II 955 to FX 8350
I have a Real Power Pro 460W, which I think it is not enough for overclocking.
Any PSU suggestion?

Also, I have heard that Antec Kuhler H2O 620 & 212 EVO is a good cooler,

Yes it is and im fairly sure it is to do with the bad routing/Latency problems in Germany as when i run ping-plotter I see packet loss at the same time this happens.

I am in HongKong and my ping is around 300
If it was caused by latency problem, my normal gameplay must be affected too.
However, the gameplay is fine except using the social function in the game.

1. Can’t see the roster in guild menu
2. Can’t see the guild bounty mission information
3. Can’t see where my friend is & what character they are using in contact menu
4. Can’t join the party normally, i mean, if i invite someone into party, the member tab just appeared in 2-3mins later.
5. Whisper, Party & Guild channel is lag as hell

These problems are really annoying :-(

The problem is still here………..

The Winsock Reset method worked once only.
Same thing happened in the next day even I have tried Winsock Reset again.
Please fix this :-( This makes the gameplay terrible.
