9/10! The type of voodoo wood you won’t want to meet in a swamp at night. Love that wooden look of the facepaint.
I went for a bit more of a ghostly look with my necro… (Cheated by taking the shot in Orr at night for extra effect)

Thanks guys, I think I’ll try contacting support and self-reporting first, since 800 gems for something that only the Swedish know is a bad word is a bit much.
If that doesn’t work out, I’ll just have to farm a bunch and buy one anyway I guess.
So, I’ve got this character of which I recently discovered (well, more heard from someone else than discovered myself) that he has a name that means something possibly offensive in another language’s slang.
The character name I’m talking about here is “Runk Gearclaw”, the Swedish(?) slang word would be “runka” or “runkar”, which means “to fap”. Yeah….
Now my question is: Is this offensive enough to ask for a free name change from Anet or am I just going to have to buy one myself?
PS: I obviously had no idea that the slang word even existed.
Well according to (http://mos.millenium.org/matchups) we should be already out of Tier8, you will get Dzagonur and Blacktide next week.
Oh, didn’t know that. I’m sure you’ll do pretty well in t7, here in t8 you’re just steamrolling us. I’m going to miss the RoS from before the transfers, those were fun fights.
How long is RoS going to be stuck in this tier, because with the new guilds they’re crazy powerful. They were already winning, now they’re dominating.
At least they can’t argue that we have equal numbers anymore.
Just saw one of our commanders, Jhaefe (may have misspelled) try and get our pugzerg to do guild tactics like might stacking to fight the RoS zerg. Didn’t really work without TS.
I’m starting to feel like FoW and Vabbi must be feeling.
Thanks for the fun evening in WSR BL to both RoF and Blacktide. Our small zerg did quite well defending Hills against RoF and later Garrison against Blacktide.
Too bad the [CRIO](?) guild from RoF came back for revenge with a bigger zerg with more randoms later. I tried to use the same tactic as before, but unfortunately we had less people defending than earlier, so you could just walk over us. :P
Fun times for my second time commanding and first time defending as commander.
i have had some duels with RoF people that transferred from GH (yeah really!) in the territory south of Hylek, where the skill point is. Its out of sight from anyone with WvW business, more or less free from monsters, and has some territory that can be interesting for dueling. i would suggest that place, also because it is EB.
That sounds like a pretty good spot, the only reason for people to go there is for the skill point and it has sort of a wall if I remember right. The krait only spawn there when the Hylek are neutral, right? So if we let GH hold the Hylek, it’s a great arena-like area.
A nice dueling spot would be the arena in the EB Jumping puzzle. People could watch from the top as 2 combatants fight in there. We just need to call cease fire in the JP. You will be out of the main battlegrounds and will not be mowed over by a zerg from any side.
Problem there is that to reach the EB JP, we need the keep.
I’ve seen some videos of other servers using the area south of the southern camp on the Borderlands as dueling spots, maybe we can use that area too?
Since there’s not alot that can be done about the GH domination, how about we set up a duelling spot somewhere?
So a few hours ago in the WSR Borderlands at DB keep there were a few RoF guys that got through the outer gate, with a mesmer commander. We closed the gate behind them and killed them, even their commander hiding.
A few minutes later, they’re in again, no broken walls, must’ve been another mesmer or someone else hiding that revived the mesmer, right? We kill them again, find their mesmer commander hiding again, kill him again.
Now to make sure this doesn’t happen again, I decide to guard the commander’s dead body, which is hanging around at the underwater gate, hoping to kill anyone that tries to res him.
Another few minutes later, I see a RoF invader revive the commander through the gate, as in he’s outside of the gates and the mesmer commander is on the inside.
Got a few screens too.
Is this an exploit or just a cheap tactic? Or is it a pro tactic that every great commander uses?
I want to get back on my comment of the [Imp] guild of GH having the most annoying people to kill, the [FS] thief of GH with S/D is way more annoying to fight.
Ha! Some of us WSR thought there was an alliance between GH and RoF after RoF took Anzalias when GH took down it’s walls with a treb from SM. I don’t think there’s any form of truce or alliance.
The [imp] guild on Gunnar’s Hold has the most annoying duo of a mesmer and thief ever. Took maybe 10 people to get them out of Ogrewatch.
This matchup is boring.
Well – I wouldn’t say that. The outcome seems to be pretty much decided already, yes, but all three servers involved have a good fighting spirit and there’s some pretty intense fighting, especially so from 10pm CET onward.
We may dominate the map at times but you keep us running around, for sure.
Funny to read this when the last WvW guild left WSR some days ago.
Dzago is just pwning cause of the lacks of numbers of the others 2 servers, in the tier above, it will take kick in the teeth again.
Im sad for GH it dont deserve to stay here. Im happy instead to see WSR in this bad situation. WSr population never gave support the to few WvW guilds, now im happy to see them complain about the bad situation
Did you and your guild leave WSR yet? If so, where did you go?
I remember you being a good commander, the problem was most people not actually listening to your orders and randomly bashing their heads into the nearest keep/tower/SM without siege and any form of strategy.
I don’t know if this is a bug or if it’s intended (I doubt it) and don’t know if I should post it here or in the bugs forum.
So, the other day I was doing some keep defense in one of the Borderlands in WvW (the keep with the water and sharks and stuff), when I noticed I was able to hit the players using the catapults on top of a cliff from the water with the trident auto attack.
I had no direct line of sight at this point, but was still able to deal enough damage to make the catapult user back off and damage the catapult from a position where the enemy couldn’t see me and I couldn’t see them.
I thought I’d post it here to see if this is a bug the should be fixed (felt a bit OP imo) or if this is intentional. Don’t know if any other professions can do this as wel or if necro is the only one.
