Guild Wars 2

Ok, so how in the frik am I supposed to complete my research so I can do various guild missions (rush, jump, etc.) when they ALL require guild merits in order to research them yet you have absolutely 0 guild merits available in bounties…only gives reputation.

This makes absolutely NO sense that you cannot get your guild to research the required guild events because they require the reward at the end of the guild event to research them.

Is there a special thing to do after getting 15 merit points accomplished in the Guild Rush Game? My characters each received the chest at the end of the rush but afterwards I did not see my guild bank have any merits added to them.

Is there a delay or something else that needs to happen before these points are awarded to the guild?

I would love to start building structures that require the merits but right now still have a big goose egg 0 merit points.
