Look, I love a challenge as much as the next person. EQ is still my favorite pve MMO for that reason alone. Having said that, there is an enormous difference between challenge and the ridiculousness of having to nudge your character off a surface to the point that he’s standing in mid air just to hit a necessary switch (gator) in order to progress. I’m not even going to talk about the rapids and the overwhelming number of bullkitten deaths due to lag and being repeatedly knocked down with no possibility of escape until you tumble over a falls. Those seem to be more glitches than design elements. But when I reached the point where I wasted a continue coin over something as simple as walking to the edge of a log to hit a gator only to find that standing on the actual log would not allow me to hit said gator, I began to find myself agreeing with the argument that there were design elements put in place with the sole purpose of pushing cash shop sales. Anet, I expected better from you.. /smh

No we don’t have the population

I’m trying to understand something here, and perhaps a respresentative from Borlis pass can answer this question.

my group loves to fight borlis players, and this week you guys have shown your numbers again compared to last week. I am sitting here now as anvil rock throws everyone we can in arb to defend against your forces, and it seems equivalent to the numbers gom is showing up on their own map, plus eb.

The real threat to your lead is GoM, so i’m trying to figure out why you guys aren’t hitting gom, but instead spending your time here at arb, when arb has pretty much left you guys alone this week, at least my guild has, and has gone after GoM for posting how “dominating” they are in last weeks match up.

My question is, with all your numbers, are you spending your time fighting ARB, because your afraid to fight GoM? Just wondering, because as I see both your borderlands hardly change to either color often, but yet ARB gets green and blue majority of the time, I can only imagine this answer as a “yes”.

GoM will continue to fill two maps with their players, and hit ARB, while owning majority of the places in eb. They will catch up to you borlis pass, and I suspect if you continue to hit ARB and you don’t slow down GoM, they will surpass your score. If this continues, I may have to reconsider not leaving you guys alone on your map, since all of you seem to be hell bent on taking arb all the time. We could just have another repeat of last week, where ARB and BP fights it out while GoM takes everything else and sits in fortified, untouched towers and keeps. Because the two underdog servers in this match up can’t get it in their heads, that GoM is the threat in this tier, and not each other.

i’m sorry, but with AR, it’s personal. GoM will be coming for you day and night. that’s just the way it is.
strange that the server colored red is complaining about the heat in the kitchen.

Oh good,

I’m glad it’s personal makes the fights more interesting and it shows the true colors of this server called "GoM’.

Only talent you guys have is running around in “mobs”, definitly showing that skill there, since Borlis seems to have the upper hand on you guys now since AR has focused on you guys this time around.

I know personally, this guild will continue to hit everything green. Better have your best gear on, and protect your homeland. Oh, and you might want to continue spawn camping, it’s like the only organizational strategy that works well for you.

I just wanted to throw out there that not everyone in WvW on ANY server just runs around in mobs. I’ve no interest in getting in the middle of any personal battles going on here but I do think that generalizing an entire server is disrespectful to the players who do adopt tactical strategies. Also, consider that the “zerg” has its place and may not be as mindless as you think. At any rate, its just a game. Try not to be so butt hurt that you blast every player/guild/group in WvW because you disapprove of how SOME may be playing it. See you guys on the battlefield, and lets go GoM!

I just wanted to chime in on something I noticed this morning. On Gate of Madness, last night Spark’s highest listing was 280 gold, and there were 5 total listings. This morning there is only 1 listing for Spark and its priced at 400 gold. I realize that its entirely possible 4 individuals purchased Sparks before morning but I can’t help my suspicious mind from wondering if this isn’t obvious market manipulation.
