You don’t need roamers to keep the bloodlust points. You can circle your one zerg through them.

Basically, if this mechanic really was introduced to break up zergs, it’s a total fail.

I’m curious, why do you think that having one of your zergs circling around the ruins isn’t a ‘zerg breaking’?:)

Let’s see. There was a zerg capping objectives and preventing other zergs from capping those. Now that zerg is guarding the ruins and ruins only. All the towers it would’ve guarded are open.

If it’s not a zerg breaking strategy i’m eager to listen what is.

Why do I suspect this goes counter to the whole idea of the game? And why wouldn’t this be completely resented by the person who has been working on a leg for 6-8 months only to see someone basically buy one after a week of farming? The whole idea behind the leg is a long-term project that you gain after much persistence and patience, not some almost-instant gratification reward you get from finding a farm that the developers clearly didn’t intend to occur.

I see your point in here, man. The idea is EXACTLY because “leg is a long-term project that you gain after much persistence and patience, not some almost-instant gratification reward” i actually never considered getting a legendary. Turning MONTH of gametime into mindless grind to get a shiny skin was not for me at all. But it’s totally another case with “days” instead of month, which this “mistake” of devs allowed me.

I just wouldn’t do it otherwise.

And btw, speaking about “long-term” part. Wouldn’t a guy who got extreemly lucky in mystic forge, be against the idea of “proper” way of getting legendaries?:) Or the guy, who converted 800usd into a legendary? The both could do it almost instantly and those ways of obtaining a legendary have been in the game from the start.

It’s been a pleasure knowing you, my friend:) Thanks for my Twilight (from 30g at the start of the event), would never get it without you. Thanks for giving me a chance to watch the whole season 1 of House of Cards, while i’ve been farming you.

Also respect for about 20 sovereign skins you gave me on the way.

You won’t be missed though. Much.

Thanks for that reply.

I assume the hidden limit works of per day basis? If, for instance it’s 5g now, then she’ll be able to send 5g today, then 5g more after reset etc?

Ok, can anybody provide me with more precise definition of “a lot more”?

Also, i fail to understand why sending the SAME sum of money back and forth have to be affected with anti-gold selling filter.

I’m not sure if this is the right subforum, but i have have a problem with account transfer limits for new accounts.

I transfered 200g to my friend, to get her ‘Golden’, title. She started playing about 3 weeks ago, so her account apparently is considered a ‘new’ one.

And the problem we have right now – she’s unable to send me my money back.

I’m sure there has to be a way to do this. Now i know about this filter on new account, and i’m quite sure it’s not supposed to prevent legit transactions like mine.

So my question is – what should i do?:)

And there goes the panic:D

Guys. What we see now is called a contradiction. That preview of the ‘new armor with better stats’ clearly contradicts both GW1 AND GW2 philosophy. So what we need to do BEFORE picking up pitchforks is to WAIT until official statement will be made.

Just relax for now. The sky is still there.

As others mentioned already you can’t allow friendly sieges to damage your own walls. Since anybody on your team can (just for fun) build a siege and destroy any walls of yours without ANY ways for you to stop him. You can’t even ask for a ban on him, since nobody is obliged to help you win by just being from your server.

Think about it. You can’t destroy a friendly siege. You can’t stop that player from solo bringing all the supplies for it and you can’t even throw him out of the siege, since he’s the owner of it.

Guys. Once again, OP is one of the few people, who actually share their findings as to the legendaries. If he will manage to find out the exact recipe everybody win. So, gl on that:) It’s rather exciting to follow that thread on gw2guru. Mysteries:D

Speaking about the opinion that “6 month is just fine for them to be rare”, i got a feeling, if it was 2 years instead of 6 month, you people would say the same:)

Something always have to stay rare. But months of non-stop farm for hardcore people means NOBODY of general player base can’t hope to get it for themselves in ANY reasonable timeframe (like couple of years). Then what is the point of having an achievement for getting one on everybody’s char select screen? To tease with a thing you never gonna get?:)

Totally agreed with Ralcore.

Out of my personal experience we went to TA exp (spider wing) with a group of 5 thieves. Nobody was on voice chat. We never played with each other before. It was ~30 min run with some problems on the first boss (the vines). The rest was challenging, but totally manageble in done right. Remember 5 theives. No guardians, no support classes whatsoever. No heals, since thieves don’t have any extra heals besides healing skill. Still we managed to get it done. Stacking blinds and mass invis for rallies make wonders.

Again, it was explore mode TA dungeon:)

Ability to change FOV would be really awesome. In some cases like dragons fights or Eye of Zaitan fight it gets increased for better viewability by the game and, in the latter fight it gets stuck in that way after the fight is over. Yes, it’s a bug. It gets reset with relogging, but it’s so much more convenient to have it that way, or at least to be able to do that.

One of the key drawbacks of having the FOV at it is now is that we’re missing many of the tall buildings/large structures, since their top parts are completely out of the view. I was shocked, when watching a vista in Cursed Shore it showed me an enormous skyscraper-like building piercing the clouds. I was like “how i couldn’t notice it before”.

The answer was easy, i never looked up near it, because, well it’s hard and a bit pointless with this FOV:)

Many, if not all, people complaining about the difficulty of the exploration mode dungeons totally misunderstand the purpose of them. Think for a moment WHY would you go to the said dungeons at the first place? To get good gear? Dungeons does NOT drop gear much better you can farm in any other place in the world. If not gear then what?:)

There’re only TWO reasons to do ANY of the exploration mode dungeons and that’s what they’ve been designed for.

1. To get specific gear PURELY for cosmetic purposes. Yes you can use it to gear up. Technically. But in reality to the moment you obtain enough tokens to buy the gear you gonna outlevel it by far (besides lvl 80 gear obviously). In this game there’re MUCH faster ways to get equivalent gear than exp mode dungeons.

2. To have fun by overcoming the challenge in the group who enjoys that style of gameplay.

Having all that in mind we can safely assume that ANY of the exp mode dungeons have been tuned for BIS geared people at least of lvl 60 (unlocked full trait trees) who either want small group PVE challenges for the sake of the challenges or for the people dedicated enough to get that particular skin of a weapon/armor to stand out:)

TL;DR: Why do you complain about the difficulty of the content which was not designed to suit YOUR particular needs if you’re NOT forced in any way into doing that content?

PS. The only exception is story mode Arah, which you need to do to finish the personal storyline. This can count as a ‘forcing into the content’ case:)
