Anyone else have problems getting through living stories due to dry top being so difficult to find one’s way around?
I’ve had to drop 2 of the living stories, and probably will the third as finding ones way around dry top has made doing the stories incredible difficult and time consuming.
Any tips or hints bar spending hours and hours of your game time in repeated attempts?
I’m sad to have to drop living story segements especially having bought the back ones I’d missed.

Thanks so much for the info guys. It really helped me sort out my confusion. I googled on GW2 megaservers so now my info on that is current.
Also it now means I can perhaps find a suitable guild without fretting about servers lol
Thanks again
ty for that info. Just want to clarify. You mean there is no real separation in servers? So the people I see playing in an area are not necessarily from my server (Ehmery Bay)?
And I don’t have to move over to or be invited to “another server” to play with a friend or guildy?
I have played another MMOG and people had to be on your server in order to play/group with, so guilds were server based. Hence my confusion in assuming that all those players I see running around in game were on my specific server.
Ah……….. I have a lot to learn about this game. lol
I am new to guild wars and am wanting a guild where I would find peers to bomb around with and explore the world, maybe a mentor group that would help me find my way around a bit, but I’m confused about guilds on same server vs guilds from another server. If the guild you are in has members on other/various servers I assume that means we couldn’t do casual running around exploring together but not sure. I am on Ehmery Bay so should I be hunting for a guild specific to that server?
Any info re: how guilds function would be greatly appreciated: maybe some advice on what to be looking for in a guild and how to choose one suitable for me. I’ve tried a couple but everyone seems busy doing there own thing. That is just fine of course, just not very helpful for me as a newbie.
Thank you SO MUCH for that info. Boy am I a dumb noob lol!
For some reason I thought it was 85. I expected the xp bar to dissappear (as it does in some games) when you reach level cap. I also asked my guild but no one bothered to mention that I WAS capped.
So again, thank you for letting me know. I really appreciated you responding despite my post being so obviously stupid LOL!
Anyone else having issues where the xp bar at the bottom shows 80 > 80?
I’ve gone through 3 levels so far and each time I am still at 80.
I sent in a bug report but was wondering if anyone else has run into this prob?
I’m very new to the game. How is Anet a fixing these things? Or will I be condemned to
level 80 for months lol.
