you are either uninformed or flat out lying here. every single one is a blast finisher which you can test easily by investing 1 minute. Also, if you use superior sigil of energy you will have plenty endurance.

Currently 10 in air and 10 in earth. I agree that glyphs are pretty nice and i currently take earth armor at 50% in earth but it’s slightly overkill with mistform

i think healing scales rather badly so youd want more defensive stats, but im not sure yet, currently using 6x undead cause i had the mats and can craft it myself, its decentish but not really happy with it
run a support build, using a staff and 30 points in arcane to get to evasive arcana (granting you lots of blast finishers) and try to get decent uptime on area might (fire field+ blast) and area heals (water field + blast)if you see allies in trouble. Also try to use movement impairing conditions (cripple, immobilize and chilled) on hard hitting melees. You still deal decent dmg with lava font and eruption mostly, while dramatically increasing dmg and survivability of your team. Going glass cannon as ele isnt really worth it i feel, other classes do it better so you should play to ourstrength, which are combo fields, condition and a sprinkle of cc.
Run arcane wave.
while i agree with the overall point id like to discuss a few subtleties.
IV. Skills I Use
Personally, doing dungeons without a stun break/immunity skill is not so smart. Id advise for sth. like mistform, which not only breaks stun but is amazing for rezzing people out of sticky situations.
V. Traits to Use
here i disagree with almost everything, which might be cause my build is more supporty but still, i do not understand how you can run a combo based staff ele without evasive arcana. It adds a lot more blast finishers to your kit, which frankly is amazing. Another point: you take arcane mastery over elemental attunement. Im pretty sure that trait is superior when you are alone and only gets better the more people you have around you. I also spec 20 into water but id say that is preference (might be cause i run TA a lot and having cleansing wave for the billions of poisons is pretty good). Overall i fell 30 points in arcane with the traits I listed (and blasting staff ofc.) are more or less mandatory if you want to run such a build. The blasts also have decent utility, providing heal/condi removal, blind and cripple. This setup allows you to stack 12-15(if you are fast) stacks of might, amazing area healing (both optimal for melee heavy groups). It’s worse in applying chilled over lengthy periods of time, so possibly better in ranged only groups against single melee opponents.
Also i disagree vehemently with fiery greatsword (I run wave, GoS, Mistform, Elemental) as it locks you out of supporting your team for way too long and doesnt provide amazing dmg to make up for it.

OT: yeah it is. Personally i think Magg should be targeted/killed during the magma run and when applying his kaboomium, would fix a lot i think
this post made me weep. Imo fire is the 3rd most “useful” attunement after earth and water which both re amazing as soon as you enter group play

i feel if you are running staff you should put 30 into arcane, not necessarily because of the swap cd (although that’s nice too) but because evasive arcana synergizes so well with the staffs combo fields. Also i want to punch a kitten when i see someone running staff but not running blasting staff. Overall the traits in arcane are both the most important and most unique and fun. Stacking everyone might to 25 with a little help from your guardian buddy by using a semi elaborate set of dodges set-ups etc. is way more fun than "oh look my skill came of cd 1 s earlier.
i also feel staffs attacks aren’t fast enough and the play style doesn’t reward staying in one attunement enough to warrant 30 fire to stack 5s might but that’s just me.
Pyromancers is awesome on dd though.
First off, use a staff.
Second, don’t limit your self to support, use control as well. Focus on keeping things away from people, stunning, blinding (GoS earth), chill, ect. Lining these up for combos is even better, like a chill field as the thief uses unload.
Use blast finishers (arcane wave, eruption, evasive arcana) on fire/water fields to buff/heal. You will heal WAY more if you do 2-3 blast finishers in a water field than the water field alone.
you can fairly easily get a total of 4 blasts in 1 healing rain by precasting eruption, arcane wave, 2 rolls with evasive arcana. That’s a good 8-9k healing without healing power.
and.. don’t stop dpsing. All of our support and control can be done while still putting out damage
fully agree with this post, works great in dungeons.
id add that you have 2 aoe blinds on air (2 and the one from evasive arcana, which especially in dungeon where everyone and their mother is immune to cc and has slow powerful attacks is immensely strong.
Also, the first 2 minor traits in water are amazing.
so i did the dungeon (story) twice once on (i think) friday once today, and both time it didnt execute the next step.
Once the clip where zhaitan appears didnt show, once it did but we had to defend vs endless waves right after that. since we had managed up to then with 4 which took ages, im slightlykitten right now and would like to know when i can actually expect to do this without wasting 2 hours each time. Also we got a total of like 10 critical errors
