In the end of a long struggle that sends the players to a near death situation… Gwen saves the day by unleashing the Searing herself, and causing the destruction of Ascalon, but in turn destroying the Flame Legion construct and saving Adelbern so he can secure his fate in forever dooming Ascalon in the future.
