I wouldn’t trade our seigebreaking elementalists for anything else in the world, I love them so much. Overall, the class is lots of rain and fire and death and pewpew. They’re squishy as heck though.
Rangers feel similar, but with a little less squishability. Very easy to pick up and play, and you won’t feel limited by what they can do since they can do lots.
A good mesmer is a huge benefit to their group. Lots of utility and buffs if you want them. I admit that I haven’t played one, but I love them. And ports are fun, helpful with jumping puzzles, can completely change the dynamic of a fight… and are great for pranks.
