I meant every 2 weeks, I’m a kitten . average work week is 45 to 50. Though some weeks do go as high as 75.

Was gonna say.. XD When I was working the 70-80 hours a week range, I literally had little time to do anything but eat, sleep, and work. :p

But I’m like 99.999999%-100% sure that EACH of the 11 sample locations have their OWN achievements, as well as the one for 10/10 for the flower backpiece. So the people who said there’s no achievement for it were wrong. :x That’s all!

Each sample has its own achievement, but it rewards 0 points. And this one sample isnt absolutely needed for the Southsun Volunteer Fieldwork (since you only need 10 of the 11 samples) nor is it required for Stalwart (since you only need to complete 25 out of 35+ achievements).

Oho, thought they were 1 point! xD As I said, can’t check But even still, was just saying there isn’t something tied to it ~ And for some people (like me) having that empty bar for the achievement not filled with that lovely yellowy orange color is a lil.. irksome? I’ll get you yet, Islet sample!

Nerp, not needed. But still is an achievement all on it’s own and gives a point ~ So unless you’re super obsessive and HAVE to get it, you DON’T have to get it. xD

I’m not saying you have to get it for the 25, otherwise you can spend a lot of time trying to get some crab battle achievements instead (since a chunk of the achievements aren’t possible yet, right?). Lesser of two evils? I was simply pointing out that they were wrong in saying you don’t get a point for it, because you do..

It’s been said a couple of times in this thread that there isn’t an achievement point associated with this sample – the Islet sample – but.. there is? o_o There’s a point for all of them .. right? Or was I seeing things last night? Dulfy’s guide even says to get it for a point towards the 25 ..

“There are 11 samples but you only need to to scan 10 samples for the Southsun Volunteer Fieldwork achievement (however, get all 11 if you want the Southsun Stalwart achievement).”

I came in last place with 0 points but I had a blast.

I guess it all just depends on how competitive you are. :x I thought it was pretty funny and was just laughing.. xD

No it’s bugged majorly, it spams you and doesnt give you a way to ignore or even accept it.

All you do is press F (or whatever you have that rebound to if that’s the case) to accept.

When I wanted a specific item from the laurel shop, I made sure to do them every day. I still check it when I log in, but if I feel like I can’t be bothered to focus on getting some or any of them then I won’t bother. If it happens through normal gameplay, well then.. bonus.

Make sure your inbox isn’t maxed out, that will hold off delivering anything until you delete some to make room.

I know for sure in one of the keeps the portal is actually underground – you go down some stairs to get to it. Not sure if that’s how it is for all of them.

I very much enjoy the game and think it is fun. Some things I like more than others, but overall the opinion from me is good.

But, like with all things, after so long of playing it can start to get boring. This happens to me with everything, so I always go through what I like to call my cycles and it’s just how I live day to day with my entertainment. I go from game to game, book to book, show to show. Some weeks I do nothing but read, or nothing but watch tv shows and movies, or nothing but play. Sometimes, day to day, it’s a mix of these things. I very much love the link they’ve kept between GW1 and GW2 – when I want to play something, but GW2 is starting to drag for me, I get back on GW1 and work on some more HoM points (not gonna be an option for everyone, but you know).

Like all things in life, everything in moderation. Mix it up every now and then and you’ll stay satisfied.

Me. I found this part of the story to be one of the most fun aspects of the game. It was innovative and entertaining. A change of pace from “go slash through this hoard of undead before the next one.” Sometimes the game throws you a curve. This is one of them.

Agreed, I absolutely loooved doing this I could just not stop laughing the whole time! Best of luck to the OP getting it done, but I didn’t have too much trouble .. as it’s been stated, take note of what each ‘skill’ does and just outsmart your opponent.

10/10! Maybe a little biased but that’s one of my favoritest names ever.

My Sylvari mesmer is ‘Anais Palebloom’ .. with a color scheme that follows suit.

I’ve also noticed you can’t preview items that are sitting in your bank.

Would be nice to be able to preview gear from any “location” so-to-speak.
